00:00Former BANBAN Mayor Alice Guo was also called to the Justice Department
00:04to reopen the preliminary investigation on the case of qualified human trafficking against her.
00:11According to the DOJ, Guo's lawyer filed a motion to admit and counter-affidavit
00:17on the last day of the preliminary investigation.
00:21Guo's documents were not filed and were only publicly notarized
00:27so they were dismissed from the Panel of Prosecutors if accepted.
00:32Guo was accused of not being able to attend the hearings
00:36due to the risk to her safety.
00:41Our rule is that people who want to file an affidavit with the P.I.
00:46should personally go and file an affidavit in front of the DA.
00:50But I will give it to the Panel of Prosecutors
00:55if they accept or not the counter-affidavit of Mayor Guo.
