00:00:00In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful, Peace be upon you.
00:00:23Welcome to Waqf-e-Azam.
00:00:25Hopefully, the day started off well and now the kids' schools are also open.
00:00:30Let's ask the kids.
00:00:32Yes, let's ask the kids.
00:00:34But think, for so long, books, copies, everything was closed.
00:00:39We didn't know where the uniforms were.
00:00:41I'm telling you this because I know all the kids who do this.
00:00:44What do you have to do in your time?
00:00:46Mom wants this, mom wants that.
00:00:48When we were kids, we used to take care of our books, uniforms and shoes ourselves.
00:00:54We had to take care of ourselves.
00:00:56We didn't even have gadgets.
00:00:59Because we didn't use the internet or mobile phones.
00:01:02Neither did we nor our parents.
00:01:05Now, this is a double-edged sword.
00:01:08The kids use it, the parents use gadgets.
00:01:11The kids want their parents to do their work and the parents want the kids to take responsibility.
00:01:16But earlier, there was more connection.
00:01:19The reason was that there was a social media war going on.
00:01:26Sadaf posted a status that she's doing well, so I'll think she's doing well.
00:01:30So what was the need to find out or call or go and meet?
00:01:35Normally, we relatives used to go and find out about their well-being.
00:01:40I was never a fan of long conversations.
00:01:43Even when this era didn't exist, I didn't make long calls on the phone.
00:01:47I used to get really bothered.
00:01:49I wanted to talk about work, I wanted to message.
00:01:51It's very important work.
00:01:53I used to call for two minutes.
00:01:55That era was different, right?
00:01:57No, now your patience level for listening to the phone has reduced a lot.
00:02:01You don't pay attention to it.
00:02:03There were moonlit nights, everyone slept.
00:02:05We woke up.
00:02:06We used to talk to the stars.
00:02:07Now, if you think about it, if we had mobile phones, social media, whatsapp, etc.
00:02:12And there was no firewall, would we be able to talk to the stars?
00:02:16If there was a firewall, we would be able to talk to the stars.
00:02:18Yes.
00:02:19This is what I understood from what you said.
00:02:21Because the issue that we are going to address right now.
00:02:23Yesterday, we saw that there was a big debate in the Senate Committee.
00:02:28And this issue was raised yesterday as well.
00:02:31Because in Pakistan, the internet is very vulnerable.
00:02:35The reason for this may be the firewall, but there can be many reasons for this.
00:02:40If you use one app, you can't use the other app.
00:02:43This is a small loss.
00:02:48But the real loss is your internet and IT related business.
00:02:54People's livelihood is affected by this.
00:02:57Think about it, people order cabs online.
00:03:01Then your food is also ordered online.
00:03:04Delivery purpose is also like this.
00:03:06Your banking services.
00:03:07Banking services.
00:03:08Plus, those women who are sending home-cooked food from their homes.
00:03:13They are making a living through this.
00:03:14They are facing a lot of difficulties.
00:03:16In this way, we see that the internet is very slow.
00:03:18Look, we have come a long way since the time of dial-up.
00:03:22Do you remember the era of dial-up?
00:03:25When there was a light KB connection for dial-up.
00:03:29Then packages were taken separately for that.
00:03:31And for that, you used to sit and wait for the connection.
00:03:33But we have come a long way.
00:03:35Now, the world is moving towards 7G.
00:03:37Yesterday, we were talking to Mr. Khurram Rahat of Pasha.
00:03:47The aim is that the stakeholders should be taken on board.
00:03:52So that, yes, we all want that there is no such thing.
00:03:56If something is spreading about me,
00:03:58if someone is doing something about Sadaq,
00:04:00if someone is making a hateful comment,
00:04:01if someone is doing something about Pakistan,
00:04:03or about any other personality,
00:04:05then everyone will have to be careful.
00:04:07That whatever you are saying,
00:04:09it is to harm someone.
00:04:11Or do not do anything like that.
00:04:13Or do not make enmity with Pakistan.
00:04:14But apart from that,
00:04:15if there are these firewalls,
00:04:17there will be mechanisms all over the world,
00:04:19where there will be firewalls,
00:04:20where there will be safety parameters.
00:04:23But despite that, the internet services will be fine.
00:04:25Look at China.
00:04:26What I was telling you is that
00:04:28this is causing a lot of economic damage.
00:04:31We, who want a little change,
00:04:33we are not getting so much change from outside.
00:04:38We have a lot of reliance on foreign loans.
00:04:40After that, we are seeing that this is an indirect way.
00:04:43The people who do jobs online,
00:04:45especially the children of today,
00:04:47who are doing data sciences and other such courses,
00:04:50or are doing studies,
00:04:51they are officially freelancers.
00:04:53They have to face a lot of difficulties.
00:04:55So, the debate that took place yesterday,
00:04:57in the meeting of the Climate Committee,
00:04:59in which it was said that
00:05:00due to the current situation of internet services,
00:05:02IT startups have been hit hard.
00:05:05Further, it was said,
00:05:06especially in the meeting of the Climate Committee on Information Technology,
00:05:10Senator Afrahanullah said that
00:05:12due to the ban on the internet,
00:05:14the national treasury has suffered a loss of 500 million.
00:05:19And the Deputy Prime Minister, Shiza Fatima, says
00:05:21that we want to go towards 5G,
00:05:23but problems are arising due to the internet.
00:05:27Now, he said to the PTA that
00:05:29we have requested for a report on this issue.
00:05:30Let's see what he says.
00:05:33The complaint about the slowdown of the internet,
00:05:35I have requested the ISPs and the PTA
00:05:38to provide us with data
00:05:40on the impact of the data traffic over the last two weeks.
00:05:44We have highlighted the issue of the internet.
00:05:47Personally, I am seeing this myself.
00:05:49We have taken this up in front of the relevant authorities.
00:05:51And we are trying to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
00:05:55Because there are freelancers,
00:05:57and there are wide-out issues.
00:05:59One thing is that,
00:06:01I am sure Senator Afrahanullah has said 500 million,
00:06:05but has he said 500 million rupees?
00:06:07What has he said?
00:06:08Anyway, if there was clarity,
00:06:09it would have been an idea.
00:06:10Now, he has instructed to resolve this issue within two weeks.
00:06:14According to the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority,
00:06:16due to the firewall,
00:06:17the internet and social media applications are suffering a loss.
00:06:21However, the situation will improve in a few days.
00:06:24And this issue has been challenged in Lahore High Court.
00:06:27And it will be resolved today.
00:06:29And the stance that has been adopted in the request is that,
00:06:31the world is moving towards modern technology,
00:06:33and the IT sector of Pakistan is being destroyed.
00:06:36Pakistani companies and young Arabs
00:06:38are making a living from IT.
00:06:40Basically, it should be done in a systematic manner.
00:06:44Of course, everyone has problems.
00:06:46But we should look at its pros and cons.
00:06:48And then, we should find a way
00:06:50which is better for Pakistan.
00:06:53The most important thing.
00:06:56I would like to mention one thing.
00:06:58What is it?
00:06:59The report that was released yesterday,
00:07:01the Ministry of IT,
00:07:02the Ministry of IT has a huge responsibility on them.
00:07:05They say,
00:07:06there is a problem with the networks,
00:07:08not with the Wi-Fi.
00:07:09My question here is that,
00:07:11especially in the urban areas,
00:07:14Wi-Fi is used.
00:07:16Fiber net is used.
00:07:17But in your villages,
00:07:19the telecom companies,
00:07:21the internet data that they provide,
00:07:24they use that to run the internet.
00:07:26So, fiber net is not there,
00:07:28the way it is used by the citizens of cities.
00:07:32So, I did not understand this answer,
00:07:34which the Ministry of IT gave.
00:07:36Basically, one thing is that,
00:07:38the data services are being affected more,
00:07:40and Wi-Fi is not affected.
00:07:42But I think we have also checked this,
00:07:44Sadaf Abdul Jabbar,
00:07:45that there are also issues with Wi-Fi.
00:07:46It slows down.
00:07:47Wi-Fi also slows down.
00:07:48The PTA,
00:07:49which is related to this,
00:07:51says that there are no complaints
00:07:52about the internet services.
00:07:54So, maybe they are getting good services,
00:07:57so they don't have any complaints.
00:07:59Now, the freelancers,
00:08:03are very worried.
00:08:06What is their opinion on this?
00:08:08Let us show you.
00:08:10In Pakistan,
00:08:11due to the recent internet crisis,
00:08:14the most affected group is the freelancers.
00:08:17Whether it is related to IT,
00:08:20development,
00:08:21or e-commerce sellers.
00:08:23A lot of people had jobs due to the internet,
00:08:25and now clients are also getting lost,
00:08:27and work is not being delivered on time.
00:08:30In Pakistan,
00:08:31there was already a shortage of jobs.
00:08:33Only freelancers were able to work properly.
00:08:36So, there are also so many problems with the internet,
00:08:39because of which we are not able to communicate
00:08:41with the clients properly.
00:08:42I am not able to talk to my customers properly,
00:08:45and they are facing a lot of problems.
00:08:47So, I want you to solve this problem as soon as possible.
00:08:50Revenue is coming in dollars,
00:08:51and that is also having a bad impact,
00:08:53because when the internet will not be available,
00:08:55we will not be able to keep a stable connection with them.
00:08:59You can imagine how concerning this is.
00:09:02It is concerning.
00:09:03Let us talk about how much loss we are facing,
00:09:05and if this situation continues,
00:09:08that is, if this problem is not solved soon,
00:09:10then how much more loss can we face?
00:09:12Let us talk.
00:09:13We have with us Senior Vice Chairman Pasha Ali Ahsan.
00:09:16Ali, thank you so much for joining us.
00:09:18Obviously, you know what the issue is.
00:09:20Please tell us,
00:09:21are the people most affected by this,
00:09:23who have lost their jobs,
00:09:25or is the overall society being affected by this?
00:09:30Thank you for inviting me to the show.
00:09:32Let us start from here.
00:09:33First of all, it is surprising that PTA says
00:09:35that no one came to us and filed a complaint.
00:09:37The kind of institution PTA is,
00:09:39do they want people to come and complain
00:09:42that the internet is down,
00:09:44broadband services are down,
00:09:46Wi-Fi is not working,
00:09:47WhatsApp is not being connected,
00:09:49or do they have the technology
00:09:51to find out for themselves
00:09:53what the situation is in the country?
00:09:55I am surprised to hear this.
00:09:58We know that Fiverr,
00:10:00which is one of the two largest freelancing platforms in the world,
00:10:03has declared Pakistan's internet degraded
00:10:05and automatically disabled all our freelancers.
00:10:08Those who know this can go and enable themselves.
00:10:11But your customer reputation has been hit.
00:10:13Along with this, we know that
00:10:15the internet connections of call centers are not working.
00:10:18My call with my client has been dropped on a million dollar deal.
00:10:21And we are being told that we have not received a complaint.
00:10:24Look, the special thing is that
00:10:26the internet is like water, food, education, and health.
00:10:31It is a special right.
00:10:33If you affect it,
00:10:35it will affect the livelihood of the entire nation.
00:10:40We do not say that
00:10:42you should not take the necessary steps for national security.
00:10:46But who is responsible for the damage
00:10:49that has been done in the wrong way?
00:10:52Ali Ahsan, what I want to know from you is that
00:10:55there was a time,
00:10:57especially in Punjab,
00:10:59I saw that even if you are sitting at a dhaba,
00:11:02there were Wi-Fi services available.
00:11:05You can install your CNIC, etc.
00:11:07I have seen a lot in Lahore.
00:11:09There was a time when Wi-Fi was being spread,
00:11:12free internet was being spread.
00:11:14And on the other hand,
00:11:16this is happening because
00:11:18after installing the firewall,
00:11:20the internet services have come down from the basics.
00:11:22That is, normal communication has also become difficult.
00:11:24So, what they are doing is,
00:11:26they are installing a firewall.
00:11:29So, after all the mechanisms around the world,
00:11:32do these complaints come up?
00:11:35Obviously, you must have done some research on this.
00:11:38Or has something gone wrong here?
00:11:40And what is it if it has gone wrong?
00:11:45Yes, absolutely.
00:11:46In my perspective,
00:11:47what is being said right now
00:11:49is not because of the firewall.
00:11:51First of all,
00:11:52there is a severe lack of transparency.
00:11:54Tell me when the rollout is happening.
00:11:56Tell me that there are problems.
00:11:58We should also be patient.
00:12:00Customers should be able to communicate.
00:12:02At this time, it is known that broadband is also affected.
00:12:05Because your CDN services,
00:12:07I will expand more,
00:12:08imagine that most of the internet traffic
00:12:11is picked up from local servers.
00:12:14Because accessing global internet,
00:12:16which is the internet for cable,
00:12:18is also expensive for Pakistan.
00:12:19And it is on limited bandwidth.
00:12:21At this time, CDNs are being bypassed due to the firewall.
00:12:24The entire country's internet is affected.
00:12:27And there is no communication
00:12:29that which wrong vendor has been selected.
00:12:32Why was the rollout not done from them?
00:12:34There are basic practices
00:12:35that before rolling out an internet system,
00:12:37it is deployed in a sandbox environment.
00:12:39Then it is deployed all over the country.
00:12:42So how did they do a national rollout without testing?
00:12:45Our industry is estimated at this time
00:12:48that a loss of 30 crore dollars has already happened.
00:12:51This industry is the future of Pakistan.
00:12:54If so many careless steps are taken
00:12:56and no consultation is done,
00:12:58then how can it be said
00:12:59that it is the responsibility of our industry
00:13:01to lift Pakistan from this position
00:13:05and take it to the basic level.
00:13:07What is the basis for estimating losses?
00:13:09Is the estimate of loss based on the amount of investment done?
00:13:13Or is the estimate of loss based on the annual revenue generated?
00:13:17How does it work basically?
00:13:18So that when you go to the government,
00:13:20you will have to tell them that this loss has happened.
00:13:23But how do you make sure that this is the estimate of loss?
00:13:29Yes, absolutely.
00:13:31We have existing data.
00:13:33The contracts of the clients that have gone under threat,
00:13:37that are being dropped.
00:13:38It is obvious that any major deal
00:13:40that you are trying to sign to attract investment,
00:13:44they have a reputational hit.
00:13:46The quality of the internet is monitored globally.
00:13:49You get to know through indexes
00:13:51which countries which systems should be shut down.
00:13:53Now this conversation with social media has gone very far.
00:13:57And I think that the people who have taken these decisions,
00:14:00they should think about how to fix it as soon as possible.
00:14:05Because we also disagree that
00:14:07a system is being installed for national security.
00:14:10And local vendors,
00:14:12those companies in Pakistan can make systems,
00:14:14they have made them,
00:14:15they have deployed them,
00:14:17but instead of using them,
00:14:19you have installed a system from another country
00:14:22and it is not properly configured on our network.
00:14:25And because of that, we have to face all these difficulties.
00:14:28So Ali, if we talk about this,
00:14:30because the internet is still under threat.
00:14:33For how long do you think this situation will continue?
00:14:37And because it is being said that
00:14:39in two weeks the situation will get better.
00:14:42In fact, it is being said for a few days.
00:14:44Do you see that?
00:14:45Are you hopeful that this will happen?
00:14:49Look, I think the first step that is missing right now is
00:14:53that there is no communication at all.
00:14:55No one is being told
00:14:56what difficulties are being faced right now,
00:14:59can we even deal with that software?
00:15:02If I tell you the truth,
00:15:04we have been being told for three weeks
00:15:06that now the problem will be solved.
00:15:08Now the problem will be solved.
00:15:09Certainly, if we are not told about the problem on official channels,
00:15:12there will be no discussion.
00:15:14So I am sure that these things are happening
00:15:16and the whole country is being affected.
00:15:18So whose knowledge was this conveyed to you?
00:15:20From the knowledge of the PDA.
00:15:21Look, the children who are earning $100 to $400 a month,
00:15:24who are taking care of their family expenses,
00:15:27if you stop their livelihood for a month,
00:15:30where will their money come from?
00:15:32I think that at this time,
00:15:34we should not take anything at face value.
00:15:38We need to discuss openly with us
00:15:41that this problem has arisen,
00:15:43we have tested it in this way,
00:15:45and who will discuss this with you?
00:15:48You cannot say that it will be solved in 2-3 days.
00:15:51Who has to discuss this with you?
00:15:53This concern has to be discussed with the people.
00:15:57Look, it is the responsibility of the PTA,
00:16:00it is the responsibility of the government.
00:16:02If this project comes under the Ministry of Interior,
00:16:04then it is their responsibility.
00:16:06Absolutely.
00:16:07I understand Pakistan's perspective on security,
00:16:09but at the same time,
00:16:10we should not completely destroy our economy.
00:16:12That is also a matter of Pakistan's national interest.
00:16:14It is a technical matter.
00:16:16In our opinion,
00:16:17it has not been handled properly technically.
00:16:19This is a fact.
00:16:20Every expert in the world will say the same.
00:16:23Tell me one more thing.
00:16:25Earlier, we used to say that
00:16:27Pakistan needs dollars right now,
00:16:29and it is obvious that our economy is such
00:16:31that it needs to be expanded,
00:16:33and different means need to be found.
00:16:36And some time ago,
00:16:38we used to say that
00:16:40the food chain,
00:16:42we do the work of freelancing,
00:16:44mostly the young people
00:16:46come last.
00:16:48That is, if an Indian is earning more
00:16:50and a Pakistani is earning less,
00:16:52then we have to educate them more
00:16:54so that they can enlist themselves better.
00:16:58And the problems have come to the point
00:17:00that even that system has become a threat to them.
00:17:03Now, what will be your step?
00:17:05In case these matters are not sorted
00:17:07in the next few days,
00:17:09then what can you do about it?
00:17:11What can you do?
00:17:15Look, let's be clear.
00:17:17We were already quite disappointed
00:17:19that we were not supported in the budget.
00:17:21American President Ronald Reagan used to say
00:17:23that the most difficult word to hear
00:17:25for a common man and business
00:17:27is that the government wants to help you.
00:17:29Because when the government tries to help,
00:17:31sometimes things get worse
00:17:33instead of getting better.
00:17:35We only had one requirement.
00:17:39That the internet,
00:17:41which is the lifeblood of the entire industry,
00:17:43should continue to run properly.
00:17:45If this does not work,
00:17:47then this problem will escalate.
00:17:49First, this problem will escalate with the government,
00:17:51then it will come to the protest,
00:17:53then the constitutionality of this firewall
00:17:55can also be tackled on the Supreme Court.
00:17:57Can you install such a system,
00:17:59even if it is in the national interest,
00:18:01which will affect the economy of the entire nation?
00:18:03This problem should be tackled
00:18:05as soon as possible,
00:18:07so that it does not escalate more than us.
00:18:09Thank you so much, Ali Ahsan.
00:18:11You spoke very openly about this.
00:18:13You also said that we want
00:18:15all the security measures to be taken.
00:18:17The country should take
00:18:19full-proof measures against this.
00:18:21But he said that
00:18:23there is a lot of technical issues,
00:18:25so it needs to be handled technically.
00:18:27So that the losses to freelancers
00:18:29or those who have jobs
00:18:31due to the internet should not be there.
00:18:33And of course, this will also affect
00:18:35the economy of the entire nation.
00:18:37It used to be very good when people
00:18:39used to talk about NFTs.
00:18:41I used to see young people
00:18:43talking about it.
00:18:45They used to talk about freelancing.
00:18:47They were sitting at home
00:18:49and earning money.
00:18:51Look at these girls,
00:18:53how they were talking about
00:18:55their work and business.
00:18:57Obviously, it needs to be promoted.
00:18:59Obviously, the purpose of installing
00:19:01this firewall will not be
00:19:03seen.
00:19:05But the PTA said that
00:19:07they did not receive any complaints.
00:19:09Everyone knows that
00:19:11complaints are being received.
00:19:13Freelancers are telling
00:19:15how much loss they are facing.
00:19:17They should be considered
00:19:19and come up with a better answer.
00:19:21Secondly, the world is now
00:19:23making progress on this.
00:19:25Let's talk about parallel income.
00:19:27People are not able to pay
00:19:29their salaries.
00:19:31The world is now making progress
00:19:33on this.
00:19:35We are still far behind.
00:19:37But after this, we will be
00:19:3910-20 years behind.
00:19:41Let's talk about
00:19:43a big news of tomorrow.
00:19:45You know about it.
00:19:47We will try to talk about it
00:19:49in our own way.
00:19:51Three more retired soldiers
00:19:53of the Pak Army have been arrested.
00:19:55The ISPR says that
00:19:57Lt. Gen. Faiz Hamid is being
00:19:59interrogated.
00:20:01Three more retired officers
00:20:03have been arrested for
00:20:05military discipline.
00:20:07They are also being
00:20:09interrogated for political
00:20:11interests.
00:20:13The names have been
00:20:15revealed.
00:20:17All three officers were
00:20:19Faiz Hamid's followers.
00:20:21They were in contact with
00:20:23the political party.
00:20:25The former Deputy Superintendent
00:20:27of Adiyala Jail
00:20:29has been arrested.
00:20:31Jail Assistant Nazim
00:20:33is being interrogated.
00:20:35The Assistant Superintendent
00:20:37of Adiyala Jail,
00:20:39Bilal,
00:20:41is also being interrogated.
00:20:43Three wards and
00:20:45head wards will also be
00:20:47interrogated.
00:20:49Three European countries
00:20:51have received
00:20:53WhatsApp messages.
00:20:55All of this
00:20:57was being facilitated.
00:20:59Let's talk about it.
00:21:01Thank you so much,
00:21:03Mr. Haris Nawaz.
00:21:05We have heard that
00:21:07there is a separate mechanism
00:21:09for accountability.
00:21:11As we see this story
00:21:13moving forward,
00:21:15what will you say
00:21:17about this situation?
00:21:19Will it expand?
00:21:21Will more people be
00:21:23arrested?
00:21:53That is a very
00:21:55serious thing.

00:31:43How did you manage to get out of this emotional trauma, this situation, that my leg has been lost?
00:31:50Zulfiqar, you took therapies, you took help, who helped you?
00:31:56First of all, I would like to thank Allah.
00:32:00He has given me so much courage that I did not realize this deprivation.
00:32:07And the second thing is that my MECMA, motorway police, reached me at that time.
00:32:14And they handled me, doctors and MECMA as well.
00:32:20And today, Alhamdulillah, I am in good health.
00:32:22There has been a lot of recovery.
00:32:24And in such a situation, it is obvious that the support of the family is very important.
00:32:30You have your wife, you have five children, Mashallah, as you said.
00:32:34So, how has the support of the family been with you at this time?
00:32:37Alhamdulillah, Allah has given me such good children.
00:32:40And I have earned halal for my children to this day.
00:32:44I have been doing this for more than 20 years.
00:32:46And Alhamdulillah, Allah has given my children to everyone.
00:32:50Such good children who are working hard for me.
00:32:55I do not regret it.
00:32:58And you have also been nominated for the biggest police award, Qaid-e-Azam award.
00:33:04How did this news reach you?
00:33:06That you have been nominated. What are your feelings?
00:33:09My officers told me, congratulations to me.
00:33:14And I thank my officers, the cleaners who did not leave me alone.
00:33:21And I thank the government of Pakistan for giving me the Qaid-e-Azam award.
00:33:28And in terms of children, you have five children.
00:33:31How many daughters and sons do you have?
00:33:34Alhamdulillah, I have three sons and two daughters.
00:33:38My eldest son is in the rescue.
00:33:40My daughter is also married.
00:33:43And Zulfiqar, you were saying that you have financial assistance from your institution.
00:33:48But still, obviously, after this incident, there must have been a big difference.
00:33:53Do you want the institution or the government to help you further?
00:33:57I have not yet realized that I have come further.
00:34:04I am doing this with a smile on my face.
00:34:07Well, that's great.
00:34:09And you really deserve this medal that you are going to get.
00:34:14And our prayers are also with you.
00:34:16May Allah bless you with such children.
00:34:20Thank you for being with us, Zulfiqar.
00:34:22Thank you so much, Zulfiqar.
00:34:23Thank you so much.
00:34:24Zulfiqar is happy.
00:34:26But the government needs to do more for Zulfiqar.
00:34:31Let's take a break.
00:34:32We will be back after the break.
00:34:39Welcome back once again.
00:34:40We will talk about the efforts of the Sindh government.
00:34:44We can see that young people are being given various courses.
00:34:50The Sindh government has made an important decision in Karachi to sell the Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management to the hotel industry.
00:34:59PITHM.
00:35:01I hope it is called Pitham.
00:35:03Diplomas and certificate courses are being given in hotel management, tour guiding and cooking.
00:35:09And talented people are being trained to earn a decent livelihood.
00:35:16The Sindh government is doing so much for young people.
00:35:19This is amazing.
00:35:20Give us a chance.
00:35:22We don't want to learn cooking.
00:35:25We just want diplomas.
00:35:26But at least we can be called for food testing.
00:35:29You can check.
00:35:30We can give advice.
00:35:31Ashfaq wants to taste food.
00:35:32We have learned only one thing, food.
00:35:33You want to be a judge and give a review.
00:35:37We may not give a review.
00:35:41But we can give our opinion.
00:35:45You will also be there.
00:35:46If that happens, I will be there.
00:35:48There is no problem in that.
00:35:49I have seen that dishes are being prepared.
00:35:52Sadaf, focus on this.
00:35:53We will eat together.
00:35:56With a wink.
00:35:58Ashfaq has completely changed my train of thought.
00:36:05I have lost interest in food.
00:36:08Let's talk about two girls from Karachi.
00:36:11They have a 5128 meter tall head.
00:36:19Roha Fatima will give a report on this.
00:36:25Roha Fatima has a 5128 meter tall head.
00:36:44Hispar Glacier is located in the north of Pakistan.
00:36:49We climbed up to 5200 meters.
00:36:54It was a Hispar Pass.
00:36:56The rest of the journey has to be done gradually.
00:37:02So, we did not face any issues.
00:37:05Amna and Nita told us that they were very fond of climbing mountains.
00:37:09After climbing the Hispar Glacier, they faced a lot of difficulties.
00:37:14But when their dreams came true, it was not easy.
00:37:18I was fond of climbing mountains from the beginning.
00:37:21We motivated each other a lot.
00:37:23We said that we can do it.
00:37:25We faced difficulties, but we did not give up.
00:37:30We do breathing exercises.
00:37:32We take a break whenever we feel like it.
00:37:39We stop for a while and breathe out.
00:37:42After that, we start climbing.
00:37:45Climbers who touch the mountains and make their country proud are proud of Pakistan.
00:37:53Whether it is a snowy mountain or a rocky mountain,
00:37:57these women have shown that if they make a decision, they will not give up.
00:38:03With cameraman Mustansar Hussain, Roha Fatima, ARY News, Karachi.
00:38:07You have given a report on Roha Fatima.
00:38:11If women work hard, what can't they do?
00:38:15I think these three women have done a great job.
00:38:19We will take a break and come back.
00:38:27In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
00:38:29Peace be upon you, ladies and gentlemen.
00:38:31Once upon a time, there was a king in the jungle.
00:38:33I will tell you the rest of the story at the end.
00:38:35Please elaborate the story a little.
00:38:37I will have to learn a little after this.
00:38:39To increase the rating of the program, a little before and a little at the end.
00:38:43But this sequence should start at 9 o'clock.
00:38:45And after that, pull the story like rubber.
00:38:47Teasers should be given in the middle.
00:38:50The story should be such that the listeners' interest increases.
00:38:53How many children of the king were there?
00:38:55And the mention of a beautiful princess is also required.
00:38:57I will cut you from here.
00:38:59On the mention of a beautiful princess.
00:39:01Okay, beautiful princess.
00:39:02Beautiful princess.
00:39:03This is fine.
00:39:04Let's talk about a beautiful princess.

00:39:32You can see our segments on Instagram.
00:39:40One more thing before we move ahead.
00:39:43I saw a video yesterday.
00:39:45The drums were being played on 14th August.
00:39:49A dog was sitting.
00:39:51He was tortured so much.
00:39:56The way he was playing the drums in his ears.
00:40:00This is a video from 2 years ago.
00:40:01Yes, 2 years ago.
00:40:02I just saw it.
00:40:03This is the job of parents.
00:40:06You have to take care of animals.
00:40:09They are also living creatures of Allah.
00:40:11The way he was being harassed.
00:40:13I was very hurt to see.
00:40:15And the same thing that we were doing on 14th August.
00:40:17That training is done from home.
00:40:19And now his videos have come out.
00:40:22It is going viral on social media.
00:40:24Obviously, people will say bad things.
00:40:25It will not affect them well.
00:40:27No, but the place where they were doing it.
00:40:32It was acceptable for the people there.
00:40:38They were making videos.
00:40:39They were not trying to stop anyone.
00:40:41Everyone was enjoying there.
00:40:43In fact, they must be saying that you have become famous.
00:40:46This is the job of parents to teach.
00:40:50They say, do good to the people of the earth.
00:40:53God will be kind.
00:40:55Do good to the people of the earth.
00:40:57God will be kind to the people of the earth.
00:40:59We need to remember this.
00:41:02Humanity teaches us this.
00:41:06We have to take care of animals.
00:41:08We have to take care of others.
00:41:10We have to take care of all creatures.
00:41:12When you take care of animals.
00:41:14Then you will take more care of humans.
00:41:17You have to raise your daughter in such a way.
00:41:20That she becomes a respectable person in the society.
00:41:23And take care of others.
00:41:25Obviously, do not harm anyone from your end.
00:41:28These are the things that parents request.
00:41:30Please take care of them.
00:41:31Children are small.
00:41:32They do anything for fun.
00:41:34But it is your job to make them understand.
00:41:36It is your responsibility.

00:43:15Thank you very much, Adnan.
00:43:19Let's share one more update.
00:43:21According to the Translator of Mahatma Punjab.
00:43:23According to Mahatma Dakhla Punjab.
00:43:26A partial mobile phone service will be suspended in 10 districts of Punjab.
00:43:31A partial mobile phone service will be suspended in Jaloos and Majalis.
00:43:37The mobile service will be suspended from 5 am to 11 pm.
00:43:42A partial mobile phone service will be suspended in Raoulpindi, Jhang, Laiya, Sargodha, Bhakar and Miyawali.
00:43:47The names of other districts have also been revealed.
00:43:50It has been said that this decision has been made for the safety of the citizens.
00:43:55Mahatma Dakhla Punjab has requested the police to suspend the service.
00:44:05General Faiz Hameed is being investigated by the Field Marshal.
00:44:12He was a former DGIS officer.
00:44:14It has had an impact on the political situation as well.
00:44:17It has opened a new chapter.
00:44:19Bani PTI has said that they have no connection with Faiz Hameed.
00:44:24If they have any connection with him, then an investigation should be carried out.
00:44:27All the evidences should be brought forward through the Judicial Commission.
00:44:31The Deputy Minister of Information, Atta Tarar, has also come forward.
00:44:35He says that these arrests will not be limited to just one institution.
00:44:40All those who have harmed national peace will be brought forward.
00:44:43Investigations are being carried out.
00:44:45More evidences will be brought forward.
00:44:46Let's listen to what he has to say.
00:44:48Khawaja Asif says that General Bajwa has bargained for a suspension of service.
00:44:54He has said that the name of Faiz Hameed has been dropped.
00:44:58Now you should also step back from your choice.
00:45:01Let's listen to what Khawaja Asif has to say.
00:45:06Malik Ahmed Khan, the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, is denying what the Deputy Minister of Information, Atta Tarar, has said.
00:45:12He says that the former DGIS officer did not want a suspension of service.
00:45:17Let's listen to what he has to say.
00:45:48I have had my time.
00:45:52I can quote his words.
00:45:55He said that old soldiers fade away.
00:45:57In National Defence University, where you had a lot of media personnel,
00:46:01you said very frankly that there is no extension.
00:46:04Neither do I want it, nor am I asking for it.
00:46:07Bajwa's stated position was public.
00:46:09When Faiz DG came, before Imran Khan's appointment as the Corps Commander,
00:46:15there was a debate about a panel of names for DGIS.
00:46:20I think he is referring to that time.
00:46:24Khawaja has something that we are not privy to.
00:46:28Let's say.
00:46:29I think that the secrets buried in his heart,
00:46:32we owe it to the public.
00:46:34I think it is appropriate that he is like this.
00:46:36Alright, let's talk about this.
00:46:38We will have with us the commentator, Hassan Ayub.
00:46:41Hassan, thank you so much for joining us brother.
00:46:44Please tell us,
00:46:46one, the proceedings of Field General Court-Marshall are ongoing,
00:46:50and details are coming out of it,
00:46:52how its scope has been extended.
00:46:54And the other retired officers have been taken into custody.
00:46:57So, in connection with this proceedings,
00:46:59please tell us, how far has it reached?
00:47:01And second, the position of Bani PTI has come out,
00:47:06the clarifications have come out.
00:47:07So, do you think that is enough?
00:47:11Will they be held responsible for this,
00:47:15if they say that I have no connection with them?
00:47:18Thank you very much, Ashfaq.
00:47:20I don't think that anyone will be held responsible for this.
00:47:26Right now, the investigation will continue.
00:47:29As far as the Field Court-Marshall case is concerned,
00:47:34it was initiated by the applicant, Kavar Moiz.
00:47:38There was an application of 184.3 in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
00:47:42Then this case was referred to the Ministry of Defence.
00:47:47And from the Ministry of Defence, to GHQ.
00:47:50And GHQ appointed a new general from there,
00:47:52who did an enquiry on this matter.
00:47:54Then, these things have been revealed.
00:47:56And then, all these cases are coming in front of us,
00:47:58that they were running a parallel network,
00:48:00consisting of retired officers.
00:48:03And now, when the network is running,
00:48:07it is not limited to the retired officers.
00:48:10Obviously, they have to achieve their objectives.
00:48:13They go to the serving officers for requests.
00:48:17And there, they have to pressurize them,
00:48:20or request them, or in any way,
00:48:22to get their work done from them.
00:48:25So, these arrests are nothing.
00:48:28There will be more arrests.
00:48:30And according to my sources,
00:48:32there are a total of 78 people in this network.
00:48:3478 people.
00:48:36And many of them are retired.
00:48:38And maybe some are serving.
00:48:40And, apart from the army,
00:48:43there are people from other departments.
00:48:45People from other institutions.
00:48:46Political figures?
00:48:48Yes, less political.
00:48:50And there are bureaucrats in this.
00:48:52There are serving bureaucrats in this.
00:48:54There are retired bureaucrats in this.
00:48:56There is a retired IG prison in this.
00:48:58Apart from this, there are a lot of names,
00:49:01who are sensitive.
00:49:03Their positions are also sensitive.
00:49:05So, I don't want to talk about them.
00:49:07But, this is not the only issue.
00:49:10They had made their own parallel network.
00:49:14In fact, the recent elections,
00:49:17in February 2024,
00:49:19they kept influencing that as well.
00:49:21So, to this extent,
00:49:23the material that has come to the surface,
00:49:25and not just this,
00:49:27but General Faiz's house in Chakwal,
00:49:29the house in Lati Falafel,
00:49:31a lot of material has been recovered from there.
00:49:33Okay.
00:49:34Because, the Pak army has been reformed.
00:49:36So, these things are opening up.
00:49:38They are slowly opening up.
00:49:40What else is coming to the surface,
00:49:42it is better that I stop here.
00:49:44The things that ISPR officially releases,
00:49:46we will take them further.
00:49:48These are obvious things.
00:49:50Hassan, this is obvious.
00:49:52When there will be more revelations,
00:49:54we will know officially,
00:49:55when everything is confirmed.
00:49:56Hassan, one thing that we are seeing,
00:49:58especially in the interviews of the Minister of Defence,
00:50:00there are a lot of revelations.
00:50:02The other day, he gave an interview
00:50:04about the lack of confidence.
00:50:06Yesterday, he is talking about the former army chief,
00:50:09that he wanted a bargain in terms of employment.
00:50:12The bargain was not accepted.
00:50:14Malik Ahmed Khan is denying this.
00:50:16Now, tell me,
00:50:18does the party have two opinions on this issue,
00:50:21or who is speaking the truth in this situation,
00:50:26and who is telling that,
00:50:28yes, it really happened or not.
00:50:30What do you have to say on this?
00:50:32Look, basically,
00:50:34there are not two divisions in the party.
00:50:36Instead, there are statements
00:50:38of two individuals
00:50:40based on their own experience.
00:50:42Malik Ahmed Khan,
00:50:44who is the father-in-law of General Retired
00:50:46Qamar Javed Bajwa,
00:50:48had a very close relationship with him.
00:50:50But, unfortunately,
00:50:52Mr. Khawais does not express that.
00:50:54Mr. Khawais's father-in-law,
00:50:56who is the father-in-law of General Retired
00:50:58Qamar Javed Bajwa,
00:51:00had a very close relationship with him.
00:51:02He used to go to his house
00:51:04and meet him.
00:51:06Now, the closeness of these two
00:51:08was definitely with
00:51:10General Bajwa's family.
00:51:12Now, what Malik Ahmed Khan
00:51:14is talking about,
00:51:16General Qamar Javed Bajwa
00:51:18had also given a statement in America
00:51:20that he does not want an extension.
00:51:22He also said in the NDU
00:51:24that he will not take
00:51:26any responsibility.
00:51:28Now, I will move on to
00:51:30the next line,
00:51:32Senior Army Leadership.
00:51:34But, it is also true
00:51:36that General Qamar Javed Bajwa
00:51:38did not want
00:51:40General Asim Munir to be elected.
00:51:42In fact, his choice was
00:51:44General Syed Shamshad.
00:51:46This is a very common knowledge.
00:51:48The whole world is aware of this.
00:51:50He has been conveying some messages
00:51:52on this issue.
00:51:54What Malik Ahmed Khan
00:51:56and Khawaja Asif
00:51:58are saying is also true.
00:52:00But, each one of them
00:52:02is saying their own
00:52:04part of the story.
00:52:06Both of them are telling the truth
00:52:08but not the whole truth.
00:52:10Tell us, Hassan,
00:52:12it is necessary to investigate
00:52:14everything.
00:52:16There is an audio recording
00:52:18about Saar Alam.
00:52:20Is there any truth in it?
00:52:22Yes, I have heard about it.
00:52:24At that time, I also heard
00:52:26that this telephone call
00:52:28was made by Saar Alam.
00:52:30Before he came back
00:52:32to the media,
00:52:34when he was off-air,
00:52:36that is, he was not working
00:52:38in any channel,
00:52:40he also had a chat with him at that time.
00:52:42He is saying this.
00:52:44At that time, he did not have
00:52:46any such objective.
00:52:48Neither was General Faiz Hamid
00:52:50nor Saar Alam
00:52:52continued to say this.
00:52:54In fact, he also came to the Supreme Court
00:52:56and said this.
00:52:58Obviously, when a person
00:53:00is giving this statement
00:53:02at Rostrum,
00:53:04and when he gave
00:53:06his written statement
00:53:08in the Supreme Court of Pakistan
00:53:10through Attorney General for Pakistan,
00:53:12it was also very obvious
00:53:14and these things were
00:53:16incorporated in it.
00:53:18In fact, one of his
00:53:20two Brigadiers
00:53:22also got in touch
00:53:24with him.
00:53:26And he kept denying
00:53:28his request.
00:53:30He kept denying
00:53:32his request.
00:53:34When General Faiz Hamid
00:53:36denied his request,
00:53:38he was not very happy at that time.
00:53:40That is why he said that
00:53:42you decline all our requests
00:53:44and increase the cooperation with us.
00:53:46He was an appointee
00:53:48of Nawaz Sharif.
00:53:50He had a loyalty with Nawaz Sharif
00:53:52at that time
00:53:54as a Chairman of the Chamber.
00:53:56And he kept declining
00:53:58all the requests
00:54:00of the ISI people
00:54:02at that time.
00:54:04Hassan, we are seeing
00:54:06that there are news about
00:54:08former Chief Justice
00:54:10Saqib Nisar.
00:54:12He is being denied.
00:54:14He is being denied.
00:54:16He has nothing to do with reality.
00:54:18Why did this issue come up all of a sudden?
00:54:20Does it have anything to do
00:54:22with the current situation?
00:54:24Yes, it is 100% related.
00:54:26Saqib Nisar is
00:54:28among those 78 people
00:54:30whom I was giving a reference.
00:54:32And Saqib Nisar's
00:54:34role is a leading role
00:54:36in all the issues.
00:54:38General Faiz Hamid was running
00:54:40a parallel network.
00:54:42Saqib Nisar's role is a key role.
00:54:44He is a leading role.
00:54:46He managed a lot of things.
00:54:48And the evidence
00:54:50that we have
00:54:52is also irrefutable.
00:54:54It will also come to the surface
00:54:56at an appropriate time.
00:54:58This issue is not going to stop here.
00:55:00This issue will continue
00:55:02to grow.
00:55:04And I think that
00:55:06if a system is established
00:55:08by the government,
00:55:10the state should not tolerate
00:55:12such things.
00:55:14And according to the law
00:55:16and regulations,
00:55:18there should be an investigation.
00:55:20Whether it is Saqib Nisar
00:55:22or DGSI,
00:55:24General Faiz Hamid,
00:55:26or a serving army official,
00:55:28or a retired
00:55:30army official,
00:55:32they should not get
00:55:34any kind of relief.
00:55:36And I think the institution
00:55:38must not show any mercy.
00:56:08This issue is not going to stop here.
00:56:10And I think that
00:56:12if a system is established
00:56:14by the government,
00:56:16the state should not tolerate
00:56:18such things.
00:56:20And according to the law
00:56:22and regulations,
00:56:24there should be an investigation.
00:56:26Whether it is Saqib Nisar
00:56:28or DGSI,
00:56:30General Faiz Hamid,
00:56:32or a serving army official,
00:56:34they should not get
00:56:36any kind of relief.

01:02:17If in a closer coordination,

01:02:21firewall will be implemented in these steps,
01:02:24kindly be ready,
01:02:26freelance,
01:02:27there would have been a flow of information.
01:02:29We don't want to stop the regulations,
01:02:33but information should be provided,
01:02:35so that together,
01:02:36progressively in the right way,
01:02:38it can be addressed.
01:02:39Coming back to incubation centers,
01:02:42please tell us about some successful projects,
01:02:46so that our viewers also get to know.
01:02:48Kindly share it.
01:02:50Sadaf, again,
01:02:52there is hope in this system.
01:02:54I belong to NIC Karachi,
01:02:56and LMKT is my company,
01:02:58which is running three of the biggest technology incubation centers in Pakistan.
01:03:01NIC Karachi, Peshawar and Hyderabad.
01:03:04More than 8 technology incubation centers are running in Pakistan,
01:03:07which are working under Ministry of IT's project Ignite technology fund.
01:03:11Within these incubation centers,
01:03:14more than 1000 startups in Pakistan,
01:03:17in the last 6 years,
01:03:19have created revenue of more than 22 billion,
01:03:21and jobs of more than 10 lakhs.
01:03:24Recently, we have ventured into NIC Karachi.
01:03:27Lucky Group has become our consortium partner.
01:03:29They run in a public-private partnership model,
01:03:32in which government and private partners come into play,
01:03:36to solve the challenges of the industry.
01:03:38I will talk about some success stories.
01:03:40We were working in more than 12 verticals of the industry,
01:03:43in our startups.
01:03:44In which agriculture, FinTech, HealthTech, PropertyTech,
01:03:49I mean, we were working in whatever technology we could bring in.
01:03:53I have named a very big name, Baikya.
01:03:55In NIC Karachi, Baikya's startup was Accelerate,
01:03:58which is solving the challenges of mobility.
01:04:00If I talk about agriculture,
01:04:02in the world, in agriculture,
01:04:04through drone footages,
01:04:06we are working on precision farming,
01:04:08through satellite imagery,
01:04:10agricultural crops are being monitored,
01:04:13so that agricultural yield can be increased.
01:04:15We have a farm-based startup,
01:04:17which is working on this.
01:04:18Nowadays, a lot of management is being done on flood control as well.
01:04:22I mean, technology is everywhere.
01:04:24Pesticides, etc.
01:04:25Small irrigation.
01:04:26Their management can also be done,
01:04:28drone technology.
01:04:29So, technology is everywhere.
01:04:31Thank you so much, Ahmed Junaid, for being with us.
01:04:34And, obviously, there are many concerns about these things,
01:04:36but there is potential in Pakistan.
01:04:38And, let's hope for the best.
01:04:41We will take a break.
01:04:42We will be back after the break.
01:04:49Welcome back once again.
01:04:50Let us give you the updates.
01:04:51PNSNN has visited two Turkish ports.
01:04:56Laikur Rahman is telling us the details about this.
01:04:58Laikur Rahman.
01:05:00PNSNN has visited two Turkish ports.
01:05:05Pakistani Embassy and Turkish Coast Guard have visited these ports.
01:05:10And, Turkish Coast Guard has also met with Hunain Coast Guard.
01:05:16And, on this occasion,
01:05:17the commanding officers have been given a tour of the ship.
01:05:20Okay.
01:05:21PNSNN and Turkish Coast Guard have been given a tour of the ship twice.
01:05:28The purpose of which is to increase the cooperation and cooperation between the two coastal forces.
01:05:33The purpose of which is to increase the cooperation and cooperation between the two coastal forces.
01:05:44Thank you very much, Laikur Rahman.
01:05:46You gave us the details.
01:05:49Okay.
01:05:50Now, let's talk about this.
01:05:52People have different types of hobbies.
01:05:55Some people like to travel.
01:05:57I also like to travel a lot.
01:05:59Before Covid, this hobby was fulfilled.
01:06:02Of course, there are some limitations.
01:06:04If you are working, you can get a limited time off.
01:06:08And then you have to come back to the screen.
01:06:10This is the same problem with Sadaf Abdul Jabbar.
01:06:12But, some people are fortunate to live their life to the fullest.
01:06:17They are living their life to the fullest.
01:06:19And, after that, they are living their retirement life in a very good way.
01:06:22And, because they look young and retired,
01:06:26they have peace in their lives.
01:06:29And, it is also very important to have a partnership.
01:06:31These are two friends.
01:06:32Their story is very interesting.
01:06:34Their latest adventure is that they have traveled 28,000 kilometers from Bazar-e-Sardaq, Canada to Pakistan.
01:06:42It's a long journey.
01:06:43Let's talk about where they have been.
01:06:45These two friends are with us in the studio.
01:06:48Mr. Shabbir Zaidi and Mr. Waqar Syed are with us.
01:06:51Thank you both.
01:06:52Mr. Shabbir, let's start with you.
01:06:54Friendship has led you to travel.
01:06:57How did you develop this passion?
01:06:58And, how did you find a traveling partner?
01:07:00We are 35 years old friends.
01:07:03And, we are living in Canada.
01:07:05So, I am also very interested in traveling.
01:07:06He is also interested.
01:07:07So, when COVID started in Imrahan, we covered 60% of Canada.
01:07:1460%?
01:07:15Yes, by road.
01:07:16We drove 10,500 kilometers.
01:07:18And, within 15 days.
01:07:20So, it was a very good trip.
01:07:22After that, we also explored Pakistan.
01:07:24In such a short time, a person can't even travel to Karachi.
01:07:26Absolutely.
01:07:27But, due to COVID, we got a lot of opportunities.
01:07:30Yes, a lot of people were scared while traveling.
01:07:33We were enjoying.
01:07:34So, it was a very good trip.
01:07:36After that, we also did a trip in Pakistan.
01:07:38Both of us did a trip here.
01:07:39After that, it became new.
01:07:40So, Mr. Waqar, how was the experience of exploring Canada?
01:07:45Because, I see that it is the only country.
01:07:48In the last 125 years, the forest cover has increased.
01:07:52Instead of decreasing.
01:07:53Exactly.
01:07:54Here, it is a different situation.
01:07:55How was your experience?
01:07:56It was a very good experience.
01:07:58First of all, thank you very much for inviting us.
01:08:00Thank you very much for inviting us to this program.
01:08:03It was a very good experience.
01:08:04And, when you do a road trip, you have more opportunities to cover a lot of things.
01:08:13So, when we left Toronto, we had already selected 3-4 places to stay here.
01:08:21So, we went to British Columbia, covering all those cities and places.
01:08:26British Columbia is basically our province in the west.
01:08:29It is right next to the American borders.
01:08:31Although, we have a lot of American borders in other provinces.
01:08:35But, I am mixing the cities of Washington and Seattle.
01:08:44We reached there.
01:08:45And, we got a chance to explore the whole of Vancouver.
01:08:49We enjoyed a lot in Alberta.
01:08:52Alberta is full of natural beauty.
01:08:54Yes, it is amazing there.
01:08:55Mr. Shabbir, I would like to know from you.
01:08:57Our concept is that when people reach retirement age,
01:09:02they think that they can't do anything in life.
01:09:05Traveling is very far away.
01:09:07Because, it is a stressful job.
01:09:09But, you have broken this myth.
01:09:12And, you are saying that you will retire, but you are very fit.
01:09:17So, it is very important to have activities even after retirement.
01:09:21You should keep some of your hobbies.
01:09:23My hobby is that I like traveling.
01:09:26And, meeting new people.
01:09:28You learn a lot when you meet new people.
01:09:31And, you get a purpose in life.
01:09:33Exactly.
01:09:34When we planned this trip, it was a long trip.
01:09:38And, everyone was saying the same thing.
01:09:39Three of our friends were going to India.
01:09:42They were from Canada.
01:09:44They were 27 years old.
01:09:46When we told them about our age, they were like,
01:09:48you are old, how will you go?
01:09:51So, God made us do it.
01:09:52If you have some courage, you can do anything.
01:09:54Sometimes, it is said that age is just a number.
01:09:58Exactly.
01:09:59It is how you feel about yourself that matters the most.
01:10:02But, there are physical restraints.
01:10:04And, it is quite stressful.
01:10:07Exactly.
01:10:08It was a 28,000 km long trip.
01:10:10But, thank God, health wise, I didn't have any problem.
01:10:13Who planned your trip to Pakistan?
01:10:17And, some people think that it won't be that costly.
01:10:21But, I believe that it doesn't matter that much.
01:10:25So, how do you manage?
01:10:27Shabbir and I manage together.
01:10:30We coordinate.
01:10:31We plan for this year.
01:10:37And, we set the timing.
01:10:41He was in Karachi at that time.
01:10:43I came back from Farai.
01:10:44Because, I was a little busy.
01:10:46I was working at that time.
01:10:47Now, I am retired.
01:10:48So, we came back here.
01:10:50And, we started the second day of summer.
01:10:53From where? Canada?
01:10:54Yes.
01:10:55No, no. From here to Pakistan.
01:10:56Actually, we brought a car from Canada to the UK.
01:10:59By road, there was no way.
01:11:01So, we covered 30 countries from there.
01:11:04It took us 6 months to complete the trip.
01:11:06You must have asked about the trip to Pakistan.
01:11:08No, no. From Canada.
01:11:09No, Shabbir was planning our trip from Canada for a year.
01:11:13So, we used to meet at different times.
01:11:17What are the basic things in a car?
01:11:20I will tell you.
01:11:21It is very important.
01:11:22There are 2-4 important things.
01:11:24I was invited by other channels.
01:11:27I forgot to tell you.
01:11:28I should have told you.
01:11:30The most important thing is that the car you drive should be pay-off.
01:11:34Because, in foreign countries, cars are usually on lease.
01:11:38So, the car should be pay-off.
01:11:39It should be 100% paid.
01:11:41So, you can take it.
01:11:42Otherwise, you don't take it out of the country.
01:11:44Okay.
01:11:45No. 2 is a car-net.
01:11:47It is an institution called FIA.
01:11:49This is not our FIA.
01:11:50This is another FIA.
01:11:51Our FIA catches people.
01:11:53Okay.
01:11:54So, that FIA is an institution.
01:11:56It has offices all over the world.
01:11:57So, you get a paper from them.
01:11:59Just like our passport, a car-net is made.
01:12:02Okay.
01:12:03You can travel the whole world for a year without paying duty.
01:12:06Okay.
01:12:07And you take its deposit according to the value of the car.
01:12:09For example, if the value of the car is $40,000.
01:12:12Okay.
01:12:13You have to deposit $40,000.
01:12:14You get it back after 6 months.
01:12:17Okay.
01:12:18That is a very important part.
01:12:19People don't know about it.
01:12:20If you are coming to Pakistan and you are a foreign national,
01:12:24then you need a visa for Pakistan.
01:12:26Obviously.
01:12:27No.
01:12:28If you bring your Pakistani passport on it,
01:12:30then there is a big problem.
01:12:31Okay.
01:12:32Because they don't allow you,
01:12:33then they put you on duty.
01:12:34Okay.
01:12:35So, we have a Canadian passport.
01:12:36We took a visa.
01:12:37Okay.
01:12:38So, these are some basic things
01:12:39that people should take care of.
01:12:40And if someone travels,
01:12:42then we will be very happy.
01:12:43Apart from that,
01:12:44there is a very important thing.
01:12:46Let me update you.
01:12:47It is the insurance to drive the car in Europe.
01:12:50Okay.
01:12:51So, without that,
01:12:52you can drive the car in the European Union.
01:12:58But in some countries,
01:12:59you have to have the insurance for driving.
01:13:02So, these things…
01:13:03This…
01:13:04Sorry to…
01:13:05This was such a big hurdle.
01:13:06Our friend,
01:13:07his cousin,
01:13:08our friend,
01:13:09Mr. Kamal helped us a lot.
01:13:10He helped us a lot.
01:13:11So, we actually spent a whole day
01:13:12to search that insurance.
01:13:13Because very rare insurance companies
01:13:15provide this.
01:13:16Okay.
01:13:17So, we took the car from the port
01:13:20and got in the car
01:13:21to get the insurance.
01:13:22Okay.
01:13:23Time is limited.
01:13:24Otherwise, we will talk to you more.
01:13:25Thank you so much, Mr. Shabbir.
01:13:27Thank you so much.
01:13:28Thank you for inviting us.
01:13:29Visit our YouTube channel.
01:13:30Sure.
01:13:31We get more details there.
01:13:32Okay.
01:13:33We take your leave.
01:13:34Allah Hafiz.
