00:00PINOY OLYMPIANS WELCOME TO MALACANIANG
00:04The Pinoy Olympians are not complete
00:06in the heroes' welcome in Malacanang last Tuesday.
00:09Palacio said that they first traveled to other countries.
00:12But according to the two Olympians,
00:14they were not told where they were going.
00:16Here is my first news.
00:22From their chartered flight,
00:25to the preparation of the program
00:27and giving cash incentives in Malacanang,
00:29the welcome of the athletes from the 2024 Paris Olympics is grand.
00:35But the Pinoy contingent is not complete.
00:38When asked by some netizens why there were no Olympians,
00:41the gymnast, Aliyah Finnegan,
00:44said that they were not told about the event.
00:46In a separate question,
00:47the gymnast, Emma Malabuyo,
00:50answered that she wanted to go,
00:51but she was not told about the event.
00:54GMA Integrated News tried to get the athletes' permission
00:58through text, call, and association,
01:03but they were not allowed.
01:05Dottie Ardina, a golfer from Malacanang,
01:08who used to advertise on social media
01:11about the lack of a uniform to wear in the competition,
01:14was also not included.
01:15According to the Palacio and the Philippine Olympic Committee,
01:17five athletes were not included in the trip back to the Philippines
01:20because they had their first flight to other countries.
01:23It has nothing to do with any issue.
01:26We were told that Miss Bianca Pagdanganan
01:28will be in Scotland.
01:29And then, for a competition,
01:31Miss Dottie Ardina will be in the U.S.
01:34Then, the three gymnasts,
01:36Miss Aliyah Finnegan, Miss Levy Rivivar,
01:39and Miss Emma Malabuyo,
01:41we were told that they will be in the U.S.
01:43They will explain the NSA there.
01:46We don't know because they left early.
01:50And even if they were not included in the event,
01:52the athletes who participated in the Paris Olympics
01:55will receive a cash incentive from the Palacio.
01:57No one will be left behind.
01:59They will be one by one.
02:00The athletes, the coaches,
02:02should coordinate with the Philippine Sports Commission
02:05to refer them to the point person of the office of the president
02:09to claim.
02:10And if ever the athletes or coach can't claim personally,
02:15they need to submit an authorization letter and the IDs.
02:22There is an additional cash incentive for two-time gold medalist Carlos Yulo
02:26from a car company.
02:29He will receive a high-end SUV
02:31that he hopes to bring to Yulo for a higher success.
02:35It's not just a cash incentive for Carlos and other Olympians
02:40for competing in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
02:43It's also a cash incentive for the entire Philippine people
02:46because they won two gold and two bronze medals for the country
02:50that put us in the number one slot in Southeast Asia.
02:54Pole vaulter EJ Obiana received 3 million pesos
02:58from three groups when he visited his alma mater.
03:02In the released ranking of World Athletics after the Olympics,
03:05EJ came down to the third place from being World No. 2.
03:09EJ was able to host the World-Class Pole Vault Meet
03:13in the Philippines in September.
03:15Along with the plans to invite the Olympic gold medalist
03:18and World No. 1, Arman Duplantis.
03:21LGU welcomes the Olympic bronze medalist Nesty Petesio in August 22.
03:28It's her last day in Nesty's home before competing in the Olympics
03:33according to her relatives.
03:35That's why they can't wait to see her.
03:37We're very happy.
03:39We're very happy because it's our first time to be with Nesty.
03:42We want to tell her that we support her as her family.
03:46We're always there for her.
03:47We're excited that she'll be able to come home
