Transcript
00:00School colours are one thing. I think all the business about badges and particular suppliers ought to be dropped.
00:07I've got two granddaughters and the school is quite strict with their logo.
00:14But my daughter will shop at Tazza or Tesco or wherever and just then have the badge.
00:22It made sense when I was at school.
00:24I think they're good for a sense of community as much as for discipline.
00:29Maybe even more so that that's the school I belong to and I look and feel like everybody else who goes.
00:35That, I imagine, is quite reassuring for a lot of children.
00:39If I want to wear trousers, let them. Why shouldn't I be allowed to?
00:45But still in the uniform.
00:48I definitely agree. I think it should all be uniformed, but shop where you want.
00:54I mean, it will stop a lot of the, oh, she's got such-and-such trainers and I've only got these cheap pumps.
