"I live where Beyoncé vacations - it's not as bougie and fancy as you think"

A woman who lives 'where Beyonce and Jay Z vacation' says it's not as "bougie and fancy" as everyone thinks.

Casey Evans, 24, grew up in Remsenburg, in the Hamptons, New York, from the age of five to 16 before relocating to Manhattan, New York.

She says people "assume everyone from the Hamptons is rich" but claims that is far from reality.

Casey insists local residents get "annoyed" with the tourists - causing traffic jams and being rude to hospitality staff.

But Casey - who lived in a five bed home with her parents and two siblings - says the Hamptons will "always be home" and she misses the community.

00:00I live where you vacation. I hated that.
00:03I grew up in the Hamptons and I don't know about you guys but I've seen so many videos lately on my
00:07for you page of influencers going out to the Hamptons living these lavish lives with their
00:11designer brands and I thought I'd show you what locals do out here as non-millionaires.
00:14I'm blessed to be able to work remote so Jenny and I started our day at Hampton Coffee and I got
00:18an eight dollar matcha and cried a little, took my morning meeting, and then moved to a better
00:22location to grind from because I was slightly blinded from the sun.
00:26Pick up the top, go in the club.
00:32You look like a worm.
00:34We headed to the library which I haven't been inside in so long. Guys this is my childhood.
00:38Anywho, we worked in there for a few hours and then tried a new spot for lunch.
00:42I'm starving.
00:46Our main street is constantly having places close and new ones open because you have to
00:49be able to survive all winter without making much money and just like make all your money
00:53in the summer. So we found this newer spot which apparently has been here for a year but I've never
00:57been. They had gluten-free options and Jenny scooped Funcho's which is the best place ever.
01:01My tiny salmon avocado on gluten-free toast plus a little sweet treat came out to $30 which was
01:07alarming and Jenny's was huge and only $15 but at least mine was good and I didn't get poisoned.
01:13It was so so nice sitting out by the water and we had some fruit defrosted from being frozen inside
01:18and then two men just came up to us with this drink. Jenny and I just did this for a photo.
01:25I think we looked slightly awkward. We probably did. I think I was like...
01:30Then I relocated to work outside from Simon's or you may know it as Beach Bakery. Simon does not
01:35own it anymore but I will forever just know it as Simon's in my heart. After work I grabbed my
01:40running clothes and skirted to the glamorous public bathroom to change and have a little
01:45dance party. Then I sunscreened it up because I am white as hell, stretched it out on Dune Road
01:50because I'm in my running era. Jenny runs 10 miles for fun so I really had to prepare myself.
01:58This was actually my first time running on Dune Road ever which if you're unfamiliar it's a road
02:03in the Hamptons with like the bay on one side and the ocean on the other and huge mansion homes.
02:07I just looked it up and there is a two acre plot of land going for nine million dollars so
02:11that'll just give you a hint of the cost of the houses there. We're house shopping.
02:15Oh my gosh I want that one. Daddy I want that. That's us.
02:23People think we're crazy. We ran 1.5 then walked 0.5 and then ran another mile to make it three
02:29miles. We did it. Whoa. Punch buggy. Oh no. The other one. We scurried back to Pikes Beach for a dip.
02:37I feel like a lot of people don't realize that the water on Long Island is very cold until like
02:41August or September even so right now it truly feels like a cold plunge. Like my feet were
02:46burning. I was losing my breath when I dunked under but it feels so good after a run. Then we
02:51headed back to Jenny's house. I took an outdoor shower because that's one of my favorite things
02:54in the world but I didn't film it for legal reasons. Then I tried to feed the chickens an
02:59orange which I don't think they were too thrilled about and Jenny spoiled me and cooked for me
03:03because our wallets were still recovering from lunch. I ran around catching fireflies which I
03:07haven't done in so long and it just healed something in me and then we did a little late
03:11night ride to 7-Eleven for the necessities. Just kidding. And Jenny managed to drop her ice cream
03:16under the car. Man. That was our lovely Thursday as two local gals who grew up in the Hamptons.
03:25I'll see you tomorrow for day two or whenever I get around to editing it.
