00:00Well, welcome to Central St Michael's. Obviously, this is a very, very exciting day.
00:04It's a day of great celebration of our students and our students have done really, really well.
00:0899% of our students have successfully passed their A-levels, which we're so proud about.
00:13It's a fitting testament to the hard work of students and the hard work of staff, so it's
00:17brilliant. Okay, Yara, so you've received Student of the Year. How does it feel to get that?
00:23I'm really happy and grateful because I faced a lot of adversities this year and I think
00:28being valued and appreciated for your hard work in an environment where you've come in
00:32for the past two years, it feels really good. Fantastic. And what have your friends said
00:37about your achievement? Well, I haven't had the chance to call all of them, but they're
00:41really happy and proud of me and that's what's most important to me because they're my village.
00:47Hi, I'm Holly. I'm the Principal at King Ed's College in Stourbridge. So we've got A-level
00:52results going on today. Lots of students coming in. It's very busy. They're delighted with their
00:58results. They've done really well this year. I'm so proud of them. I'm proud of the staff
01:03and the students. We've got much greater rates of A-stars, A's, B's, all the higher grades.
01:10So we've got about 60% of our students have got an A-star to B, which is a fantastic achievement
01:17above a 99% pass rate. So they are feeling great and then they're going off collecting
01:22their results, going to some great destinations. We've got more than 20 students accepted offers
01:27for Oxbridge this morning. So yeah, I'm very happy, very proud. Students are happy too.
