00:17One day after the dismissal of Ombudsman Alice Guo as Mayor of Bamban Tarlac,

00:22tax evasion was added to the complaints she is facing

00:26based on her role in Pugo in Baufu Compound in Bamban Tarlac.

00:30In the complaint filed by the BIR to the Department of Justice,

00:33the person who paid the Capital Gains Tax and Documentary Stamp Tax to Guo

00:38was the one who sold the shares in Baufu Land Development when the Mayor of Bamban ran away.

00:43It is very clear that there is a tax evasion case in this transaction.

00:47The value of the shares that she sold is very low.

00:52That's why the amount is P500,000.

00:56According to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission of PAOC,

00:59Guo sold 2.5 million shares in 2021 for P1 per share.

01:06The shares sold by Guo and the Corporate Secretary of Baufu Land are also included in the complaint.

01:12The cases are multidimensional,

01:15but definitely there is a narrative there

01:30According to Guo's lawyer,

01:31they will be held accountable for each and every complaint filed by the BIR.

01:36According to the dismissal of the Ombudsman to Guo,

01:39his lawyer was saddened that the Ombudsman did not support their argument.

01:44But they are already preparing a motion for reconsideration

01:47that they will have to appeal in the Court of Appeals.

01:51This is the second criminal complaint against Guo.

01:54He is also facing a Qualified Human Trafficking Complaint here in the Department of Justice

01:59in connection with the raid on Zuniwan Technology in March this year.

02:03Aside from the Co-Warranto case and the cancellation of the birth certificate

02:07filed by the Office of the Solicitor General

02:10and the Material Misrepresentation case in Comelec.

02:14According to Comelec Chairman George Garcia,

02:16the Ombudsman's order is immediately executory

02:19except if he can get a temporary restraining order from the Court of Appeals.

02:24So even if he can file a Certificate of Candidacy for the next election,

02:28Comelec will cancel it.

02:30The dismissal of the Ombudsman to Guo is close to the 3-month suspension

02:34of 12 officials of BAMBAT, including the Vice Mayor.

02:38The member of the Sangguniang Baya is also in the same situation.

02:41So the one who will run the municipality first is Counselor Eranio Timbang.

02:45He is a Counselor in Sangguniang Bayan.

02:49But I think he opposed the removal of the permit.
