00:30Success and victory is a test from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:38Sometimes, a person, whether he gains success or victory,
00:44is tested by his success and victory,
00:47so that he may feel surprised and proud of his efforts,
00:53and forget that Allah is the source of his success and victory.
01:00So, from the verse that we are going to discuss today,
01:03we will see how Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala teaches a person
01:08to overcome the test of his success and victory,
01:11through the 17th verse,
01:13up to the 19th verse,
01:15from Surah Al-Anfal.
01:17Now, let's discuss My Quran Time, Quran Salat and Infaq.
01:47I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed.
01:53That is because Allah shows the way of the disbelievers.
02:10Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
02:40Surah Al-Anfal, verse 179.
02:42As usual, I am not alone in this studio.
02:45I am here with Al-Fadhil Ustaz Tarmidhi Abdur Rahman.
02:49Last week, or the last discussion,
02:51I was reminded that I must mention Dhal Tarmidhi Abdur Rahman.
02:55So, I will mention him as well.
02:57He is a well-known person who has contributed a lot of effort
03:02and voice for the sake of this beloved Quran.
03:06How are you, Ustaz?
03:08Alhamdulillah, Al-Fadhil Ustaz Syamsuddi.
03:10I have been looking for a teacher since the evening.
03:12I have been learning from you.
03:15Thank you, Al-Fadhil Ustaz Syamsuddi, for coming.
03:18Thank you for giving me knowledge in this MQT.
03:22Thank you, Ustaz Mezi.
03:24Thank you for starting the reading of Al-Quran.
03:26It is a source of inspiration for our discussion.
03:28Alhamdulillah, we have not forgotten our fellow students.
03:33Insha'Allah, we will maintain with the discussion of Al-Quran.
03:39In the beginning, I was talking to them.
03:41Some of them said, Ustaz, they could not even stay for a day.
03:45Hopefully, Allah SWT will preserve our lives with Al-Quran
03:49until the end, Ustaz.
03:51This is the pleasure of living with Al-Quran.
03:53So, to start our discussion this time,
03:56let us start with a brief prayer first, Ustaz.
03:59That is,
04:08Today, insha'Allah, we will start from the 17th verse.
04:12So, to start our discussion today,
04:15let us listen to a recitation from Al-Fadhil Ustaz Tanwimuddin Abdul Rahman.
04:20Please proceed, Ustaz.
04:21Thank you, Al-Fadhil Ustaz Muhammad Syamsuddi Al-Hakim bin Abdul Samad.
04:24As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
04:26Alhamdulillah thumma alhamdulillah.
04:28Wa salatu wa salamu ala Rasulillah wa ala alihi wa sahbihi man wala wa ba'da.
04:33Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala alihi Sayyidina Muhammad.
04:37Ayah 9, Bonda.
04:38Ladies and gentlemen, Muslims and non-Muslims,
04:40viewers,
04:41companions of Al-Quran,
04:42lovers of Al-Quran,
04:43who are loved by Allah SWT,
04:45who are in front of a TV screen,
04:47or in front of a telephone screen,
04:50or in front of a platform to play Quran Time,
04:53we are grateful to Allah SWT.
04:55We pray that may you and your parents
04:58continue to be given good health.
05:01If there are parents who are not in good health,
05:05may Allah SWT grant them recovery
05:07and best treatment
05:10by Allah SWT.
05:11Ameen.
05:12Ya Rabbal Alameen.
05:13And hopefully,
05:14a little bit of our efforts,
05:17even though sometimes we are busy,
05:20our health is not good,
05:22our eyes can't see,
05:24our ears can't hear,
05:27but we still try
05:29to play Quran Time.
05:31For example,
05:32as Al-Fatihah Al-Syam said,
05:33our friends from Istiqomah,
05:35parents who are also from Istiqomah,
05:37at home or wherever,
05:38can't miss,
05:39can't miss Al-Syam.
05:41If you don't watch Al-Syam,
05:42it won't happen.
05:44That's how it is.
05:45Listen to Al-Quran.
05:46That's Al-Quran.
05:49Alhamdulillah,
05:50we are grateful that Allah SWT
05:52has planted such feelings in our hearts.
05:54One blessing,
05:55one blessing that Allah SWT has given us.
05:57Ameen.
05:58Ya Rabbal Alameen.
05:59Alhamdulillah.
06:00So we want to read the 17th verse first.
06:02Al-Fatihah Al-Syam.
06:03The 17th verse.
06:04Ibu Ayah,
06:05let's try to start by reading
06:07using Taranum Muratal,
06:08Taranum Bayyati,
06:09Inshallah.
06:10I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed.
06:12In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
06:42Surah Al-Fatihah.
07:13Surah Al-Fatihah.
07:26That's the summary of our discussion at this time.
07:29That's the discussion that will discuss
07:32the 17th to the 19th verses.
07:34The summary of these verses
07:36will give us some important lessons.
07:38That's what we want to see first
07:40before we go to the summary.
07:42The synopsis of the verses.
07:44From the verses that we will discuss,
07:47we will see the explanation of Allah's help
07:50for the believers
07:52that have been mentioned in the previous verses.
07:55Then we will see the blessings and blessings
07:58that are good from Allah SWT.
08:01Thirdly, we will see
08:03the determination of victory and defeat
08:05actually comes from Allah SWT.
08:09The 17th verse that was recited by
08:11Al-Fadhil Ustaz Tirmidhi Abdur Rahman,
08:14Allah has stated,
08:16It is not you who kills them,
08:19but Allah who kills them.
08:22And it is not you who throws when you throw,
08:25but Allah who throws.
08:27Allah does so to destroy them
08:30and to give victory to the believers.
08:33Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing and All-Knowing.
08:37This is the translation of the 17th verse
08:39that was recited by Al-Fadhil Ustaz Tirmidhi Abdur Rahman.
08:43Just now,
08:44it explains to us for a moment
08:47how Allah gives victory to the Prophet
08:50and his companions in the battle of Badr
08:52as we have heard in the previous story.
08:54How the enemies,
08:56in a sudden situation,
08:58their heads were pulled from their bodies.
09:01Their hands, their limbs
09:03were lost just like that.
09:05We know from the command of Allah to the angels
09:08to do such a thing.
09:11So, when Allah gives victory to the Muslims
09:14through the way of help that Allah has sent,
09:17sometimes when the victory is achieved,
09:21sometimes they do not see it coming from Allah.
09:24On the contrary, at that time,
09:26some of the believers at that time
09:29felt that the victory was
09:32a result of their own efforts.
09:35So, at that time,
09:37Allah, in making their faith straight,
09:40their belief that whatever happened,
09:43it must have come from Allah.
09:46Whereas,
09:47in the initial human calculation,
09:50the believers were expected to lose
09:53in terms of their preparation,
09:55their number,
09:56compared to the larger number of enemies
09:59and their preparation.
10:01But, the victory came
10:03because Allah has determined it.
10:06So, if we see,
10:08how in the events that have been recorded
10:11from the death of the enemies of Allah
10:13in that battle,
10:15in the case of the companions,
10:17even though they have given their initial efforts,
10:20that is,
10:21preparing to face the battle,
10:23placing their true faith in Allah,
10:26preparing to face the enemies
10:29who will be angry in a few moments
10:31before the battle takes place.
10:33But, when the battle takes place,
10:35whatever has been shown
10:37from the power of Allah,
10:39resulting in a great loss
10:41from the enemies
10:43which comes from the help
10:45that Allah has sent through His angels,
10:48resulting in the Muslims
10:51finally achieving victory.
10:53So, this is where
10:55the warning comes from Allah SWT.
10:58This is a warning for the companions
11:00who lived at that time.
11:02But, for all of us,
11:04for us to remember Allah SWT again,
11:07is not when we are facing a difficult time.
11:10The difficult test,
11:11we usually say,
11:12is when people remember Allah more.
11:14But, the problem is
11:15when we achieve success,
11:17victory,
11:18usually,
11:19we quickly forget Allah.
11:21When we are praised,
11:22people say,
11:23Oh, I see that I am great.
11:25Whereas,
11:26the one who gives us greatness,
11:28the one who gives us
11:30success in life,
11:31is Allah SWT.
11:33So, this is the opening speech
11:35from the 17th verse
11:36which actually
11:37the discussion is not complete yet.
11:39InshaAllah,
11:40we will continue in the next discussion.
11:42Don't go anywhere.

13:26Quran Salat and Ifaq
13:53Quran Salat and Ifaq
14:17Quran Salat and Ifaq
14:35Quran Salat and Ifaq
15:03Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
15:11Back again with
15:12My Quran Time,
15:13Quran Salat and Ifaq.
15:14To continue our discussion
15:16from the 17th verse
15:17which we haven't finished yet.
15:20In the second part
15:21of the 17th speech,
15:23Allah SWT tells us
15:25about a moment
15:26during the battle of Badr
15:28which has been recorded
15:30in a authentic hadith.
15:32The Prophet SAW,
15:34before the battle of Badr,
15:36narrated that
15:38the Prophet had taken
15:39small stones
15:41and threw them
15:42to the enemy
15:44and prayed for their destruction.
15:47At that moment,
15:48what was told
15:49was the result
15:50of the Prophet's effort
15:51to throw the stones.
15:54Allah SWT perfected
15:55the effort
15:56by bringing the effect
15:57of the throwing
15:58with the power
16:00that Allah had shown.
16:02Every stone
16:03that had come
16:04from the Prophet SAW,
16:07it concerned
16:08the entire number
16:10of the Musyrikin army
16:11that was facing
16:12the Prophet at that moment.
16:14Not a single one
16:15from the Musyrikin army
16:17that participated
16:18in the battle of Badr,
16:19but the stones
16:20that were thrown
16:21by the Prophet SAW
16:23must have entered
16:25into their eyes
16:27which caused
16:28blindness.
16:30As a result of
16:31the blindness,
16:32it made it difficult
16:33for them to move
16:34further.
16:35It's like
16:36when we experience
16:37blindness,
16:38it's more difficult
16:39for us to move
16:40and so on.
16:41This was the starting point
16:43of the defeat
16:44that Allah SWT
16:46determined
16:47against the Musyrikin.
16:48If we imagine
16:49logically,
16:51what was done
16:52by the Prophet SAW,
16:54the grip of his hand
16:57would not be able
16:58to hold the stones
16:59that were measured
17:00logically
17:01with his bare eyes
17:02in an effort
17:03to reach
17:04a number of people
17:05whose number
17:06was almost a thousand.
17:07If you can go home,
17:08try to take
17:09any stone,
17:10no matter how small it is,
17:12try to turn it
17:13and do an experiment
17:14to see how many
17:15people
17:16can be affected
17:17by the turning
17:18in that number.
17:20But this is where
17:21Allah SWT's power
17:22shows
17:23to the Prophet SAW
17:25that
17:26Allah SWT
17:27is the one
17:28who perfected
17:29the effect
17:30on the enemies
17:31and whatever
17:32Allah SWT
17:33has given
17:34with the reasons
17:35that have been
17:36taken by
17:37the believers
17:38including
17:39the Prophet SAW
17:40that
17:41was then
17:42perfected
17:43by Allah,
17:44this is a
17:45form of
17:46Allah's sunnah
17:47that Allah
17:48has determined
17:49for the human life.
17:50It doesn't matter
17:51whether it's
17:52the Prophet
17:53or the believers,
17:54it doesn't matter
17:55whether it's
17:56the Prophet SAW
17:57or the believers,
17:58it doesn't matter.
17:59It's the same
18:00with the other
18:01people.
18:02Whatever we need
18:03to achieve
18:04a goal,
18:05it still
18:06needs to be
18:07started
18:08with our efforts
18:09even though
18:10the one
18:11that will
18:12ensure
18:13the final
18:14effect
18:15or the
18:16final decision
18:17that will
18:18be achieved
18:19by the human
18:20is none other
18:21than
18:22Allah SWT.
18:23We need to
18:24put in
18:25the right
18:26effort
18:27according
18:28to what
18:29has been
18:30determined
18:31for what
18:32is to be
18:33achieved
18:34from the
18:35success
18:36or the
18:37success.
18:38If our
18:39siblings
18:40want to
18:41learn
18:42and get
18:43the perfect
18:44decision
18:45in their
18:46learning,
18:47they can't
18:48say,
18:49it's okay,
18:50Allah will
18:51guide me
18:52to the
18:53success
18:54in front
18:55of their
18:56eyes.
18:57Give us
18:58our efforts.
18:59If we want
19:00sustenance,
19:01we need to
19:02get out
19:03of our
19:04homes.
19:05We can't
19:06hold on
19:07to the
19:08words
19:09of humans
19:10that
19:11if
19:12a
19:13snake
19:14in a
19:15rock
19:16can
19:17eat it,
19:18then
19:19I
19:20can
19:21give
19:22it
19:23something.
19:24If Allah
19:25wills it,
19:26Allah will
19:27write
19:28goodness
19:29for
19:30them
19:31with
19:32good
19:33sustenance.
19:34This is
19:35what Allah
19:36has
19:37shown
19:38us
19:39through
19:40the 17th
19:41verse.
19:42After
19:43the Prophet
19:44and his
19:45companions
19:46gave
19:47their
19:48efforts,
19:49Allah
19:50will
19:51give
19:52them
19:53good
19:54sustenance.
19:55The
19:56success
19:57Allah
19:58gives
19:59is
20:00the
20:01word
20:02liyubliya.
20:03If
20:04we look
20:05at the
20:06opinion
20:07of
20:08Al-Tabari,
20:09he
20:10said
20:11that
20:12liyubliya
20:13means
20:14to
20:15give
20:16blessings
20:17to
20:18believers.
20:19However,
20:20the word
20:21chosen
20:22to
20:23give blessings
20:24is
20:25liyubliya,
20:26which
20:27means
20:28to
20:29test.
20:30This
20:31gives
20:32us
20:33the
20:34understanding
20:35that
20:36success
20:37is
20:38a test
20:39from
20:40Allah.
20:41Even
20:42though
20:43it is
20:44a great
20:45blessing
20:46from
20:47Allah,
20:48it is
20:49a test
20:50from
20:51Allah.
20:52Allah
20:53tested
20:54his
20:55companions
20:56with
20:57the
20:58blessings
20:59he
21:00was
21:01given.
21:02Some
21:03of the
21:04believers
21:05at that
21:06time
21:07almost
21:08forgot
21:09that
21:10the
21:11success
21:12came
21:13from
21:14Allah.
21:15Even
21:16though
21:17they
21:18forgot
21:19that
21:20the
21:21success
21:22came
21:23from
21:24Allah,
21:25they
21:26were
21:27tested
21:28by
21:29Allah
21:30with

27:08There is a hadith that is not known.
27:12It is not true.
27:15There is a scholar whose name is La Aslalahu.
27:19There is no origin.
27:21One of the other false hadiths is that there is no origin.
27:27If we meet a boy, we ask him, where are you from?
27:32I'm from there.
27:33Where is your mother?
27:34I don't have a mother.
27:35Father?
27:36I don't have a father.
27:37Are you from there?
27:38No, I was born there.
27:39I was born in this world.
27:42So, this child must have a father.
27:46A mother gave birth to him.
27:48If he suddenly appears, no one can accept him.
27:53That is the false hadith.
27:54If he suddenly appears, there is no sign.
27:57There is no story.
28:01If he suddenly appears...
28:07O Lord of the worlds...
28:37When there is trouble, there is comfort.
28:42Just like when the night comes.
28:50That is the time of comfort.
28:53Don't forget to come.
28:57Don't think that the pain will last long.
29:03Don't think that the pain will last long.
29:10Remember, usually the pain doesn't last long.
29:17After the pain is gone, it will come back.
29:27Trial is a punishment from Allah.
29:39Will we be patient?
29:46Or the opposite?
29:52Trial is a punishment from Allah.
29:59Will we be patient?
30:03Or the opposite?
30:11Praise be to Allah.
30:15Praise be to Allah for His blessings.
30:21Like what was shared by Al-Fadhil just now,
30:26sometimes when the blessings of happiness, victory, success come,
30:31we tend to forget Allah.
30:36When we lie down, we can't open our mouths.
30:41That is a trial.
30:45Even though it is a success, a victory,
30:48it is still a trial.
30:51We must always remember Allah.
30:54May Allah make us remember Allah.
31:00Whether we are healthy or not,
31:04whether we are sick or not,
31:06we must always remember Allah.
31:09May Allah make us remember Allah.
31:12Al-Fadhil Shams,
31:15you are an expert in the field of Al-Quran and Tajweed.
31:19Would you like to share a few words with our viewers?
31:24Sure.

31:34we will focus on the 18th verse.
31:39It will be easier for you to memorize this verse.
31:43Let's try.
32:021, 2, 3.
32:18MashaAllah,
32:20even though it is just a few words,
32:23our studio is full of enthusiasm.
32:27There is help from Allah.
32:29I'm sure our viewers at home are excited too.
32:34It is a voice-out.
32:37We can't hear, but we can feel the enthusiasm.
32:40We will repeat the 18th verse.
33:00Try to increase the volume of your voice and breath.
33:04I can see that our audience is excited too.

33:26MashaAllah,
33:29that was Taranum Hijaz.
33:32There is one more.
33:35That will be next week.
33:38Let's see.
33:40The first one is Zalikum.
33:43Zalikum.
33:46Zalikum.
33:49Please.
33:52Zalikum.
33:55Zalikum.
33:57There is a sign, Sukun.
34:00It is a small letter.
34:03I can't remember the name.
34:06Mimati Bertemu Dengan Wau, Izhar, Shefawi.
34:09I can't hear it clearly.
34:12Zalikum.
34:15Zalikum.
34:18Sometimes it is missed.
34:21There is a M.
34:24It is added.
34:27That was the first one.
34:30Be careful.
34:39Be careful.
34:42Don't change it to Ha.
34:47The base of our throat.
34:51Try it.
34:54There is a word in Malay.
34:57Mohon.
35:00Mohon maafkan saya.
35:03Mohinu.
35:06Don't change it to Ha.
35:09There is another word.
35:12Kaydil kafirin.
35:16Try it.
35:24Kaydil kafirin.
35:27Raw is a thick sound.
35:31It should be thin.
35:34Mohinu kaydil kafirin.
35:39MashaAllah.
35:44Don't change it to Ha.
35:47Sometimes it is thick.
35:50Sometimes it is thin.

35:56Kaydil kafirin.
35:59Try it.
36:02Kaydil kafirin.
36:05MashaAllah.
36:08People say that raw is our tongue.
36:12How can we differentiate between thick and thin?
36:17Where is the tongue?
36:19I remember when a teacher taught us, ...
36:23... he said that it's like eating a peach.
36:29We ate a lot of peaches.
36:32Our mouths would split.
36:35When we were studying, we'd pull it.
36:39When we said ri, ...
36:42... it would pull our mouth.
36:45That's an example.
36:47InshaAllah.
36:50It's important to communicate with our teachers.
36:56This is verse 18.
36:59I'll count it for this session.
37:02Let's try.
37:041, 2, 3.
37:151, 2, 3.

38:03Try again.
38:061, 2, 3.
38:15Go ahead.
38:26MashaAllah.
38:29The raw is thin.
38:32You can read this 18th verse as a Maghrib prayer.
38:37That's an example.
38:39Alhamdulillah.
38:42May Allah give us the opportunity...
38:46... to continue reading the Quran.
38:49May Allah grant us the time we need.
38:53Even if we're busy, ...
38:56... we won't leave the Quran.
39:00Dear viewers, ...
39:03... let's listen to the 19th verse.

49:00This is what has promised victory for everyone,
49:04along with the right group and Allah with them.
49:08But before the last verse, Allah said,
49:15The best choice of the truth that has been wronged in front of them,
49:20is to stop opposing Allah and His Messenger,
49:24as well as oppressing the believers.
49:27That is the best choice for Abu Jahl.
49:31But is that a lesson for them?
49:35The stubbornness of Abu Jahl has led them to repeat their wrongdoings
49:40towards the Prophet for the next battle,
49:44the battle of Uhud,
49:48which was repeated by the polytheists,
49:52and the battle of Khandaq.
49:55In the 17th verse, Allah said,
50:20From the 17th to the 19th verse,
50:23we have seen some of the resources that we can achieve.
50:27First, do not give up,
50:31and always believe in Allah,
50:35the Almighty.
50:39Second,
50:42say all the praises for the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon us,
50:46and make sure to be close to Allah,
50:49and always be under His protection.
50:53Hopefully, these three verses will complete our discussion for today.
50:57We close our session,
51:01and we hope for His blessings,
51:05with the guidance and prayer that will be recited by Al-Fadhil.
51:09Thank you, Al-Fadhil.
