00:00What about your mental health and your family's and your, I mean, how are you doing?
00:05I always say this, and it's true, we're hanging on literally by our fingernails,
00:10but we're hanging on and we are taking and we are getting support and we've got a great
00:14group of people around us, but the fallout from this tragedy is enormous and the support
00:22the victims get after this tragedy is appalling. It's nowhere near what it needs to be. I think
00:28what has to happen is if you're a victim thrown into this horror, there has to be much better
00:33support from the Ministry of Justice. They have the Homicide Victim Support Team, which is a
00:39wonderful title to get their book from, but you need more than 12 paid full therapy sessions,
00:45you need more than a caseworker that's available Monday to Friday, nine to five, and you make an
00:49appointment to have a call with them. We have businesses, we have relationships, we have other
00:55children, so the effect on the economy as well as the mental health.
