00:00Just heading out of a very quiet Kenilworth Road where Burnley have just delivered a pretty stunning opening weekend win at Luton.
00:10The team expected to be up there challenging for promotion with them from the championship.
00:15Burnley have just gone there with a new manager, some new players, a lot of players, a big squad, a lot of uncertainty.
00:22They've just gone there on a 1-4-1.
00:26I think it's fair to say no one really saw it coming, probably inside or outside.
00:30I don't think we really knew what to expect full stop really.
00:33We haven't seen much of this Burnley side, obviously in pre-season for different reasons.
00:37So many players, didn't know what to expect from team selection.
00:41Scott Park got it absolutely bang on, the players got it bang on tactically, in and out of possession.
00:47So much to talk about, so much to go through.
00:51James Trafford getting the nodded goal out by a goal, skidding a few minutes off the bench.
00:58I don't think anyone expected that tonight.
01:00So many talking points, so many good performances.
01:02Josh Brownhill, Lyle Foster, that run for the fourth goal.
01:06It's difficult to pick out individuals because everyone was excellent today.
01:12A really good performance, first half set the tone.
01:15Two really good goals, well-crafted goals.
01:17Took advantage of Luton, who were a bit weak at the back.
01:21A few young players there, but don't think they took advantage of those three balls.
01:25A bit of nervousness when Luton got back in it.
01:29You come to Kenneth Road, you always know Luton will have spells of pressure and momentum.
01:34When they get a goal, they have that pressure for 5, 10, 15 minutes.
01:37You've got to come through that pressure.
01:40But to be honest, Burnley did it relatively well.
01:44That third goal from Dorothee is crucial.
01:47Then the fourth comes from Vitinho.
01:50A great finish, but it owes everything to Lyle Foster.
01:54That run from the edge of his own box to the edge of the other box.
01:58A really good finish from the way end.
02:00Really good scenes.
02:01It's all in all a pretty much perfect night.
02:04Especially for the first game of the season.
02:06Can't get much better.
02:08As quite a few of you said on social media, it feels like a bit of a statement.
02:12Not just a win on the opening day, but a win against a really good Luton side.
02:15I don't think there's many, if at all any, more difficult places to come than Luton away.
02:21So to come and do that on the opening day 4-1, very, very promising.
02:25And as I wrote on Twitter, it's hard not to get carried away.
02:29One down, 45 games to go.
