00:00The ending weekend of the Olympic Games over in Paris this summer in 2024 in the final
00:09event of the final day of action prior to the closing ceremonies a gold medal game between
00:16the host nation in France and the United States in women's basketball the Americans looking
00:21for their eighth consecutive gold medal to become the most dominant team we have ever
00:26seen in Olympic history in a team sport it was not easy the United States probably facing
00:33their best test they have in over a decade but they do prevail for a one point victory
00:40in Paris over France 67 66 the French do cover as a 16 point underdog a pregame total
00:48in the low 150 stays well under but the story at the end the Americans eight consecutive
00:56gold medals we will recap why and how it happened yesterday over in Paris yeah a brutal
01:02basketball game overall just from an aesthetic standpoint but that doesn't matter like nobody's

01:18three point range you take a look early on Asia Wilson I mean just couldn't find the

01:27fourth quarter finishing with 21 and 13 certainly the MVP of Team USA but the interesting part
01:32goes down is like we now enter into the stage where three-point shooting is so important

01:55Team USA was going to win and they did that that was the name of the game that was the
01:59goal but now as we flip the page over to 2028 it's gonna be a lot of young superstars a
02:03lot of great guards still that are going to be available for Team USA when it gets to
