00:01:58Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Rated-R Superstar, Edge!
00:02:20Ladies and gentlemen, there is the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship
00:02:26And in less than 48 hours, he'll get his shot against John Cena.
00:02:30A number one contender is a disturbed, demented, destructive individual.
00:02:36And this Sunday, in a last man standing match against John Cena,
00:02:40Edge gets his final opportunity to face Cena for the world's title.
00:02:44And remember, in this match, there are no submissions and no pinfalls.
00:02:49A man must be incapacitated to the degree that he cannot enter a pin count
00:02:55to lose.
00:02:57That type of match favors the remorseless soul, and
00:03:01that certainly is the type of soul that this man possesses.
00:03:06Oh, I'm trapped in my knees.
00:03:29Two weeks ago, John Cena looked me in the eyes.
00:03:36And told me I was a desperate man.
00:03:41Told me that I was grasping at straws, that he was tougher than me.
00:03:50Told me that no matter what I threw at him in the past,
00:03:54he keeps getting back up, I can't keep him down.
00:04:03And he was absolutely right.
00:04:06It's the old cliche of the irresistible force meeting the immovable object.
00:04:14I will stop at nothing, nothing to get what I want.
00:04:21And it seems that John Cena has an unshakable resolve to keep getting back up.
00:04:29In 2006, Cena won an Elimination Chamber match.
00:04:34I cashed in my money in the bank, I speared him twice, and
00:04:37I won my first ever world title.
00:04:49Now, usually that would be a demoralizing blow, but yet, he came back.
00:04:56Since that night, I have brutalized him.
00:04:59I have cost him world titles, I have beat him for world titles.
00:05:03I have even slapped his father across the face.
00:05:12And yet, through all of that, he still came back.
00:05:15But finally, on Monday night, finally, that all changed.
00:05:29And I will never forget that night.
00:05:33I will never forget that night.
00:05:37I will never forget that night.
00:05:41I will never forget that night.
00:05:45I will never forget that night.
00:06:09I'd like to think that the last thing John Cena heard was my voice
00:06:14as he slipped and faded away into unconsciousness.
00:06:19But in case it wasn't, in case he woke up with a pounding headache
00:06:22thinking it was just all a bad nightmare, let me remind all of you
00:06:26and him exactly how his night ended, just like it will this Sunday.
00:06:33One...
00:06:37Two...
00:06:40Three...
00:06:43Four...

00:06:55Ten!
00:07:03The winner and new World Heavyweight Champion,
00:07:12the Rated-R Superstar,
00:07:20Edge.
00:07:33John Cena!
00:07:51John, you have the strongest resolve of anyone I've ever fought.
00:07:57It almost makes me want to respect you.
00:08:05But I despise you too much with every fiber of my being.
00:08:14Your will cannot match my resolve.
00:08:20This is it for me, Cena.
00:08:23This is it. I have nothing left.
00:08:25If I don't beat you for the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday,
00:08:29I have nothing.
00:08:39My wife Vicky can't help.
00:08:49I have no friends.
00:08:55I have no family.
00:09:05In your own words, John, I'm a desperate man.
00:09:16So here we are.
00:09:19This Sunday,
00:09:22we lay it all on the line
00:09:25for the very last time.
00:09:30It has to come to an end.
00:09:32A definitive end.
00:09:36This war of attrition, this battle that we've waged
00:09:40for over three years,
00:09:42it finally has to come to an end
00:09:44because it shortened both of our careers, John.
00:09:49And in the end...
00:09:59It's over.
00:10:01It's over.
00:10:03Cena!
00:10:05Cena!
00:10:07Cena!
00:10:09Cena!
00:10:11Cena!
00:10:13Cena!
00:10:15Cena!
00:10:17In the end, John, I will walk away as champion.
00:10:30I will be the last man standing.

00:25:48I will be the last man standing.
00:25:58I will be the last man standing.
00:26:08I will be the last man standing.
00:26:18I bashed the old man and his son in the skull.
00:26:26I RKO'd the NDDT Stephanie and sealed it with a kiss.
00:26:36Tell me Triple H, when you kiss your wife, is that what you think about?
00:26:42I am this close to getting what I want.
00:26:48And may God help the McMahon family if they decide to get in my way again.
00:26:56And now the three on one assault!
00:26:58Randy, you're gonna get some backlash!
00:27:02Oh my! Big Batista! Batista is back!
00:27:10You're gonna get some backlash! It's gonna be a tidal wave coming at you!
00:27:16The three of you against my son-in-law Triple H, my son Shane, and the animal Dave Batista!
00:27:28It took me almost four months to get back in this ring.
00:27:32And the one thing that drove me was retribution.
00:27:36That vicious punt to the side of Batista's head.
00:27:40I've replayed that over and over and over again.
00:27:44It's all I can think about.
00:27:46And the worst part was waiting.
00:27:50Waiting to get my hands on Randy Orton.
00:27:56Randy Orton tried to separate my head from my shoulders.
00:28:00But he also did it to my father.
00:28:02So if anybody's getting retribution, it's me.
00:28:06Orton tried to take out my wife.
00:28:08I started it, and I am damn well gonna finish it.
00:28:18The Legacy is a well-oiled machine.
00:28:24Triple H, your team, is nothing but a bunch of hotheads and egomaniacs.
00:28:30All it is gonna take is for one of your team members to make one mistake.
00:28:34One disqualification.
00:28:36Or maybe, one of us will just have to pin you or make you submit.
00:28:42RKO from out of nowhere!
00:28:44And backlash.
00:28:46And Randy Orton is pinned!
00:28:48The WWE Champion!
00:28:50I will take my rightful place.
00:28:55As your WWE Champion.
00:29:06And the intense saga continues tonight.
00:29:10An emotionally charged, backlash-implicated tag team main event.
00:29:14Batista and Shane McMahon will collide with two members of Legacy tonight.
00:29:20Tonight!
00:29:22It's a big show!
00:29:26It's a big, big show now!
00:29:32All in one.
00:29:34It's a big show!
00:29:40This is not a simple reform.
00:29:42A virgin of the earth standing at 7 feet tall.
00:29:462441 pounds.
00:29:50The Big Show!
00:29:52Well, tonight is The Big Show's final appearance on SmackDown before going to Raw.
00:29:58And he'll look to leave this brand with a knockout over The Undertaker next at our main event.
00:30:06And welcome back everybody to Friday Night SmackDown.
00:30:10Jim Ross, top wrestler at ringside.
00:30:12The Big Show waiting to face The Undertaker.
00:30:14You know, the superstars of SmackDown are going to be able to sleep a lot easier now that tonight's my last night.
00:30:24You see, they won't have a 7 foot, 485 pound nightmare of destruction to worry about.
00:30:32Because you know, as soon as I lock this, load this, and fire this right at someone's skull, there's not any time but to pray that the lights come back on.
00:30:50And Undertaker, tonight, I'm going to turn out your lights.
00:31:00I'm going to turn out your lights.
00:31:30And his opponent, from Death Valley, weighing 299 pounds, The Undertaker!
00:32:00Ladies and gentlemen, this crowd in London, England is geared up for a Wrestlemania level match.
00:32:12The Undertaker, The Phenom, getting set to square off against simply the largest athlete in the world today.
00:32:20It makes no difference where these two meet.
00:32:24It just happens tonight to be in London, England.
00:32:26This crowd is electrified.
00:32:30This main event will be massive for more reasons than just the mere size of these two amazing athletes.
00:32:38This is a showdown.
00:32:40The Big Show has made his statement.
00:32:44The Undertaker will do his talking in the ring.
00:32:56Certainly we can all recall the jaw-dropping performance of The Big Show.
00:33:04When his pretentious right hand knocked out The Undertaker.
00:33:10That happened a few months ago.
00:33:14The Undertaker hasn't forgotten.
00:33:18The world hasn't forgotten.
00:33:22Most importantly, The Big Show has not forgotten.
00:33:28We saw Rey Mysterio get knocked unconscious.
00:33:32Jeff Hardy last week.
00:33:34Gerald Friday Night Smackdown.
00:33:36Rey Mysterio earlier this week.
00:33:38Anyone who's on the receiving end of that right hand gets knocked unconscious.
00:33:44It's that simple.
00:33:46If Big Show connects, your lights are out.
00:33:52But then again, ladies and gentlemen, we're talking about The Undertaker.
00:33:58And what can The Undertaker do to The Big Show?
00:34:02I would suggest to you folks, The Undertaker can do many, many painful things.
00:34:08Memorable things to The Big Show.
00:34:10And we're going to see it all right here.
00:34:12What an atmosphere.
00:34:14What a main event here on Friday Night.
00:34:16And JR, one of The Undertaker's main strategies is to go right at his opponent.
00:34:22But can he afford to trade shots with The Big Show?
00:34:24Well, that remains to be seen.
00:34:26I don't know if there's a human being alive that can afford to trade shots with The Undertaker.
00:34:32The Undertaker must avoid shots and get his shots in.
00:34:38We saw The Undertaker experience some of those hard shots there.
00:34:44Right to the ribs, going to the body, Big Show.
00:34:47And the headbutt is not any walk in the park.
00:34:52Anything The Big Show hits you with is going to hurt.
00:34:56Whether it's a knee, a fist, or a boot.
00:35:00Look at that knee just lifting the 7-foot, 300-pound Undertaker a foot off the canvas.
00:35:07Again, the fearless phenom has been caught in a corner.
00:35:13It could be a fatal corner before it's all said and done.
00:35:16This is not where The Undertaker needs or wants to be.
00:35:22It's been about a month since that amazing win for The Undertaker at the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania.
00:35:28One of the greatest matches of all time against Shawn Michaels.
00:35:31But as wonderful a night as it was for The Undertaker,
00:35:34it was equally as frustrating for The Big Show, who failed in his attempt to win the World Heavyweight title.
00:35:40That was in a Triple Threat match involving John Cena and Edge,
00:35:43where John Cena regained the heavyweight championship of the world.
00:35:47And again, The Big Show using that headbutt, using heavy strikes.
00:35:52Which will again be The Big Show's calling card, one would assume, here tonight.
00:35:59And since that loss at WrestleMania, The Big Show has been unstoppable.
00:36:04We've seen a new man, an angry man.
00:36:08The Undertaker's face and his body English tell a definitive story.
00:36:13Once hit with those body shots of The Big Show.
00:36:17Big Show going for a big boot.
00:36:20But The Undertaker able to escape and lands a big boot of his own.
00:36:25And the world's largest athlete has gone over the top rope.
00:36:29Stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen. This massive main event continues.
00:36:39Ladies and gentlemen, we're in London, England for Friday Night Smackdown.
00:36:43We're in the midst of an epic encounter as the world's largest athlete, The Big Show,
00:36:48goes toe-to-toe against The Phenom.
00:36:50It's amazing The Undertaker was able to deliver the offense after what we saw.
00:36:55This was during the break. The Undertaker sets sailing into the security wall.
00:37:00And as this match progresses, one has to wonder what will be the approach of The Big Show
00:37:06as far as The Undertaker's alleged neck injury is concerned.
00:37:10We have seen every opponent The Undertaker has faced since WrestleMania.
00:37:16Right there. Well, there he is. A headbutt right to the neck.
00:37:20Right to the back of The Undertaker's head, the base of his skull.
00:37:23Every opponent The Undertaker has faced.
00:37:26We saw it with Matt Hardy on Superstars.
00:37:30We have seen it with Shelton Benjamin here on Friday Night Smackdown.
00:37:33And now The Big Show assaulting that what we don't know how damaged the neck is of The Undertaker.
00:37:40Well, few men on the planet would have the nerve or guile to basically guarantee a win over The Undertaker.
00:37:46But that's what The Big Show did earlier tonight.
00:37:49Said he would deliver a nightmare of destruction and would turn The Undertaker's lights out.
00:37:55Well, The Big Show is quite aware that The Undertaker is a wounded animal tonight.
00:38:01And The Undertaker's neck has a big bullseye on it.
00:38:07And again, those clubbing blows of this messy Goliath-like individual.
00:38:14And this certainly poses a strange threat to The Undertaker who is usually the biggest, largest athlete in his match.
00:38:21But tonight, that's certainly not the case.
00:38:23Outweighed by at least 150 pounds by The Big Show.
00:38:28Look at this unique way of focusing on the neck.
00:38:32The neck is problematic to say the very least.
00:38:36The Undertaker's not going to tell you how bad he's hurt.
00:38:40He certainly was more than willing to take this main event here tonight.
00:38:45And to settle an old score with the largest athlete in the world.
00:38:51Well, JR, you mentioned that the draft goes into effect the day after Backlash.
00:38:56Will this be the final time we see these two massive superstars face off here on SmackDown?
00:39:06Very successful offense by The Veteran.
00:39:09The Demon of Death Valley able to create some offense from an unusual position.
00:39:17The Big Show continuing to target that neck of The Undertaker who now is fighting back.
00:39:24The Undertaker striking The Big Show.
00:39:27Certainly The Big Show making his last appearance on Friday Night SmackDown.
00:39:32Wants to make an everlasting impression.
00:39:34The Big Show told us once he locks, loads, and fires that right hand, it will be over for The Undertaker.
00:39:40So far, The Phenom has been able to avoid that right hand but not able to get out of the way of that.
00:39:47A shot right to the forehead of The Undertaker that snapped his neck back.
00:39:51Like a car crash and a suffering whiplash.
00:39:55And now stepping on his neck is The Big Show with that size 18, 6-inch boot.
00:40:02And again clubbing down on the neck.
00:40:04No wasted motion by this massive individual.
00:40:13The near 500-pound Big Show being very strategic.
00:40:19But he knows he's dealing with a wounded man in The Undertaker who will never ever give up.
00:40:27The Undertaker hitting with the strengths.
00:40:33But now The Undertaker. Surely not. No way.
00:40:37Back elbow to the side of the head putting all that torque and pressure on the neck of The Undertaker.
00:40:43The Big Show dodged a choke slamming bullet there.
00:40:48Oh!
00:40:54And now The Big Show setting up for the choke slam and he hits it.
00:40:59Ladies and gentlemen, The Big Show may have just beat The Undertaker.
00:41:03Undertaker literally got his left shoulder inches off the canvas.
00:41:08That was not a massive kick out with a man that weighs nearly 500 pounds.
00:41:13And what did that action from The Undertaker take out of the dead man?
00:41:18Well that shows you the resolve The Undertaker has able to kick out of a choke slam
00:41:23which was hit about 8 or 9 feet in the air.
00:41:26Look at this.
00:41:31Undertaker's neck being tortured. Literally tortured by this massive, this world's largest athlete.
00:41:41It could be mistaken for a double-decker bus here in London.
00:41:44That's truly how big this athlete is.
00:41:47Undertaker's head and neck completely engulfed in the arm of The Big Show.
00:41:53And everything is focused on The Big Show, on The Undertaker's neck.
00:42:00Oh my gosh.
00:42:01Oh and a DDT!
00:42:02What a counter!
00:42:04A counter could not have come any sooner for The Undertaker to survive.
00:42:10It may be over.
00:42:13It was a desperate DDT, JR.
00:42:16It was done by necessity.
00:42:18The Big Show was cutting off the circulation and the oxygen to that damaged neck of The Undertaker.
00:42:25And you can see The Undertaker slapping his arm almost trying to get some life back into it.
00:42:30Been a gut check time for both these men in this amazing main event.
00:42:34And we're so glad you're with us here on My Network TV.
00:42:38This has been a classic slugfest.
00:42:53One has to wonder how much damage is done internally by The Big Show.
00:42:58By The Big Show with those body shots on The Undertaker.
00:43:06Oh and the right hand again just missing by The Big Show.
00:43:09And a clothesline from The Phenom.
00:43:12The Big Show has missed twice.
00:43:13The Undertaker with the cover.
00:43:17But could not hold down The Big Show who's seemingly hell-bent on leaving his final match on SmackDown
00:43:26with a victory over The Undertaker.
00:43:36But summer vacation is not here.
00:43:40First class is in session.
00:43:42The right hand!
00:43:43The right hand!
00:43:44There it was!
00:43:45The Big Show promised it would be delivered and it was delivered with venom.
00:43:50The fortitious, pugilistic power of The Big Show catching The Undertaker right on the button with that huge right hand.
00:44:00Undertaker staggering.
00:44:03The Undertaker doesn't know where he is right now.
00:44:08And The Big Show mysteriously choosing not to go for the cover here.
00:44:17Undertaker in the ropes.
00:44:20Trying to...
00:44:21Undertaker's eyes are as glazed over as I have ever seen them.
00:44:27The damage has been done by this right hand of The Big Show.
00:44:35The giant man with the massive right hand.
00:44:37He's locking.
00:44:39Here's The Big Show.
00:44:40And loading.
00:44:42Undertaker trying to will his way with his amazing heart and resilience back into the cage.
00:44:49Into the neck with the right hand.
00:44:55Good gosh almighty.
00:44:57The right hand.
00:44:58Clean shot.
00:45:00Right to The Undertaker's neck in the back of his head.
00:45:03It's a right hand that would shatter most skulls and may have done that to The Undertaker right now.
00:45:08It's over!
00:45:09It's over!
00:45:10It is over!
00:45:12The referee has called a stop to this match after The Big Show landed not one but two of those colossal right hands.
00:45:26Ladies and gentlemen, The Undertaker cannot continue.
00:45:30Therefore, the winner of this match, The Big Show!
00:45:35I may be an unpopular decision here in London, but the referee I think made the correct call.
00:45:43The Undertaker was defenseless.
00:45:45Just think what The Big Show would have done to a defenseless Undertaker.
00:45:50We saw what two right hands did to a man obviously with a bad neck.
00:45:55And look at the courage as The Undertaker tries to pull himself up.
00:45:59I have never seen anything like this involving The Undertaker.
00:46:03Never!
00:46:05Never!
00:46:06Never!
00:46:07Never!
00:46:08Never!
00:46:13I don't think The Undertaker knows the match is over.
00:46:18Undertaker still wants to fight.
00:46:20You've got to admire the courage, but at the same time.
00:46:35This may not be the best decision the Undertaker has ever made, let me tell you.
00:46:48After Big Show with a big smile on his face, leaving SmackDown is The Big Show, and Big
00:47:15Show has done one thing.
00:47:16And that is to incapacitate The Undertaker.
00:47:17And let's take a look at this first right hand by The Big Show, catching The Undertaker
00:47:18with his entire weight coming down off that top rope.
00:47:19The hazardous hands of the world's largest athlete.
00:47:20And that fortituous right hand to the back of the head of The Undertaker.
00:47:21And Big Show has done it.
00:47:22The Undertaker has done it.
00:47:23The Undertaker has done it.
00:47:24The Undertaker has done it.
00:47:25The Undertaker has done it.
00:47:26The Undertaker has done it.
00:47:27The Undertaker has done it.
00:47:28The Undertaker has done it.

00:48:39The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:40The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:41The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:42The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:43The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:44The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:45The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:46The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:47The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:48The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:49The Undertaker has done it.
00:48:51Introducing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada,
00:48:53she is the current Divas Champion,
00:48:56Moody!
00:48:58And JR, dare I say, this French-Canadian is less popular here in the United Kingdom
00:49:03than she is over in North America.
00:49:05I think that's a good deduction.
00:49:12But she is special.
00:49:14Ladies and gentlemen,
00:49:15tonight's SmackDown is sponsored by KFC
00:49:18and new Kentucky Grilled Chicken is here,
00:49:20marinated and grilled to perfection for that five-star,
00:49:23fall-off-the-bone taste.
00:49:25Taste the unfried side of KFC.
00:49:34And introducing the challenger from Tampa, Florida,
00:49:37Gail Kim!
00:49:40So a monumental opportunity tonight for Gail Kim
00:49:43as she gets her first crack at the Divas Championship.
00:49:46Gail Kim certainly has momentum,
00:49:48but an amazingly impactful return to Friday Night SmackDown
00:49:53and defeated Maryse last week.
00:49:57That sets the stage for this match-up
00:50:00and certainly the last time we expect to see Maryse
00:50:04who's now a property of Monday Night Raw
00:50:08here on Friday Night SmackDown.
00:50:10So Gail Kim will attempt to keep that championship
00:50:13here on SmackDown.
00:50:15Let us not forget that the women's champion, Melina,
00:50:18is now a member of SmackDown,
00:50:20coming over in the draft from Raw.
00:50:23They're not going to get Maryse out.
00:50:24She is one champion that has gotten better and better
00:50:27since she became champion.
00:50:32Maryse is your Divas Champion,
00:50:34a very proud champion,
00:50:36won that title back in December
00:50:38and has not relinquished it.
00:50:41Gail Kim showing off that athleticism.
00:50:43Nice roll-up.
00:50:45And JR, we saw that Gail Kim beat Maryse last week.
00:50:48It was a non-title match.
00:50:49Oak shoulders down too.
00:50:51So the title did not change hands.
00:50:53That's sort of like a regular season match-up.
00:50:55This is the playoffs.
00:50:56This is for all the marbles.
00:50:58Gail Kim was channeling Ricky the Dragon Steamboat
00:51:02who meets Chris Jericho this Sunday at Backstage
00:51:05with that nice cross body.
00:51:06And look at the aggressiveness of Maryse.
00:51:09Maryse is sometimes in the locker room area
00:51:12a little bit aloof,
00:51:13but she is very taut, much like you.
00:51:15Self-cherishing.
00:51:17Well, we're both attractive.
00:51:18Exactly.
00:51:21In fact, Maryse said that everyone is her favorite fan,
00:51:24whatever that means.
00:51:26And Maryse loves her hair,
00:51:28loves her look.
00:51:29And this is not a lovely field for Gail Kim.
00:51:34This gives no meaning to a camel clutch.
00:51:36And Maryse also loves the championship,
00:51:38the Divas title,
00:51:40and hopes to carry it with her over to Raw,
00:51:42but needs a victory here tonight over Gail Kim,
00:51:45something Maryse could not do this past Friday.
00:51:48King of Macaco,
00:51:49and I've learned to speak a little French,
00:51:50much like you.
00:51:52Maryse on Monday nights.
00:51:54And look at Gail Kim now.
00:51:55She starts to build a momentum.
00:51:57We've seen Gail Kim before
00:51:59who builds significant momentum
00:52:01and then finish it off.
00:52:03Well, if you had any doubt
00:52:05that WWE was a worldwide phenomenon,
00:52:07we've got an Asian-American
00:52:09squaring off against a French-Canadian
00:52:11in the United Kingdom.
00:52:13You're very geographically genius.
00:52:16I'm like an international house of pancakes.
00:52:18And now, boom!
00:52:19Oh, there's a Hurricanrana.
00:52:21That was created in Mexico.
00:52:23And Gail now for the Divas championship.
00:52:25No!
00:52:26Gail Kim hooking that near leg,
00:52:28but again, the momentum that Gail Kim built,
00:52:30she doesn't let it go to waste.
00:52:32She always maintains that advantage.
00:52:34And Gail Kim always on the move.
00:52:36Does not like to stay still,
00:52:38including this opportunity.
00:52:40Refusing to let Maryse escape.
00:52:42Maryse may have thought of that pedicure
00:52:44moment she had a little bit later on.
00:52:46I thought she was leaving.
00:52:47Oh, look at this!
00:52:48Well, maybe not Maryse.
00:52:50Just lulled Gail Kim into a vulnerable state.
00:52:53And Gail Kim off the rope.
00:52:55Say what you will about Maryse.
00:52:57Not only is she beautiful,
00:52:58she's very intelligent.
00:53:00And Maryse likes to call her version of a DDT,
00:53:02the French kiss.
00:53:04And Gail Kim can kiss
00:53:06this Divas championship opportunity goodbye.
00:53:13And still Divas champion, Maryse!
00:53:18I assume we can say a little bit more
00:53:20au revoir to Maryse,
00:53:23who will take her Divas title
00:53:26to Monday Night Raw,
00:53:28beginning this Monday night.
00:53:31Words like extreme and intensity
00:53:33used to mean everything to me.
00:53:36I used to wake up in the morning
00:53:38and know exactly who I am
00:53:40and exactly where I wanted to go.
00:53:44Living for the moment used to be
00:53:46more than just a catchphrase.
00:53:49It used to mean something.
00:53:51That things have changed,
00:53:53and I've changed,
00:53:55and I've changed,
00:53:57and I've changed,
00:53:59but things have changed, Matt.
00:54:02You beat me at WrestleMania,
00:54:04which was the biggest moment in your career,
00:54:06without a doubt.
00:54:08You said you were gonna carry me out
00:54:10on a stretcher,
00:54:11send me home on a stretcher,
00:54:13and that's exactly what you did.
00:54:15You even won again tonight.
00:54:17So congrats.
00:54:19Matt, your overconfidence will kill you.
00:54:23All the pain you've brought into my life
00:54:25will show through this Sunday,
00:54:28and you'll see that I'm just as crazy
00:54:30as I've ever been,
00:54:31and although we won't have ladders,
00:54:33tables, chairs, or stretchers,
00:54:35we will have the words,
00:54:37I quit.
00:54:39And after Backlash,
00:54:41when you walk onto the set of Monday Night Raw,
00:54:44you'll be known as the older party
00:54:47who quit when it mattered the most,
00:54:50and not just for the moment,
00:54:53but for the rest of your life.
00:54:58An emotional gym party
00:55:00will do whatever it takes
00:55:02to make his brother say,
00:55:03I quit this Sunday.
00:55:05And you're looking, ladies and gentlemen,
00:55:07at the current and longest reigning
00:55:08United States champion of all time.
00:55:11It's MVP,
00:55:12and he will be ballin'.
00:55:14He's in action next on SmackDown.
00:55:28Let's go.
00:55:30He's going all out.
00:55:34Yes!
00:55:35Yes!
00:55:36Yes!
00:55:37Yes!
00:55:38Yes!
00:55:39Yes!
00:55:40Yes!
00:55:41Yes!
00:55:42Yes!
00:55:43Yes!
00:55:44Yes!
00:55:45Yes!
00:55:46Yes!
00:55:47Yes!
00:55:48Yes!
00:55:49Yes!
00:55:50Yes!
00:55:51Yes!
00:55:52Yes!
00:55:53Yes!
00:55:54Yes!
00:55:55Yes!
00:55:56Yes!
00:55:57Let's go, MVP.
00:55:58Let's go, MVP.
00:56:00MVP!
00:56:01Oh my God.
00:56:03And we understand, ladies and gentlemen,
00:56:04it's made earlier in the week
00:56:05that MVP will defend the United States title
00:56:07against Dolph Ziggler
00:56:10this week on SmackDown
00:56:11that emanates from Madison Square Garden,
00:56:15the Mecca of sports and entertainment,
00:56:17the world's most famous arena.
00:56:23What?
00:56:25And his opponent, from El Paso, Texas,
00:56:27weighing 215 pounds, Chavo Guerrero!
00:56:32Chavo Guerrero had what I would like to call
00:56:34a bad night this past week on Raw, didn't he?
00:56:37I would suggest bad when he faced Batista.
00:56:41A lot of people have bad nights when they face Batista.
00:56:44And by the way, Batista's a shaming man.
00:56:46Still to come tonight, against two members of Legacy,
00:56:49Tony Rhodes and Ted DiBiase,
00:56:51it was Chavo's first night on Raw,
00:56:53and ended up apologizing to his aunt, Vickie Guerrero,
00:56:57for basically getting decimated by the animal.
00:57:02So here we go.
00:57:03The United States champion,
00:57:05squaring off against the Mexican warrior, Chavo Guerrero.
00:57:10Chavo certainly has a chance to redeem himself,
00:57:13as I'm sure his aunt Vickie knew what she was doing.
00:57:17Redeem himself, as I'm sure his aunt Vickie knew.
00:57:20Full-time general manager of Monday Night Raw
00:57:23is watching Friday Night SmackDown tonight.
00:57:26Chavo very opportunistic there.
00:57:28Chavo very, very talented.
00:57:30No doubt about that. Third-generation athlete.
00:57:33If you talk about superstars that are on a current hot streak,
00:57:36perhaps no superstar quite as hot
00:57:38as the man from Miami, Florida, MVP right now.
00:57:42MVP is, I think, one of the key draft picks
00:57:45of Monday Night Raw.
00:57:46He's going to make a great name
00:57:48and enhance his legacy on Monday nights.
00:57:51Longest-reigning United States champion in WWE history.
00:57:56And you know, the WWE universe
00:57:58kind of coming around here for MVP.
00:58:00Used to, it seemed like everyone was turned off
00:58:03by his flashy style,
00:58:04but now MVP actually getting some support.
00:58:07Only one reason for that, Todd.
00:58:08MVP has earned it.
00:58:10The King of Bling almost had to get rid of all his bling,
00:58:13had to return his signing bonus.
00:58:14In fact, he was going through such a rough patch.
00:58:16But since defeating The Big Show back in January,
00:58:19arguably the biggest win of MVP's career
00:58:22until Vontavious Porter has been unstoppable.
00:58:26Chavo walked right into that reverse elbow.
00:58:28MVP's very resourceful, but Guerrero is ultra quick.
00:58:35And Chavo Guerrero trying to get his groove back, so to speak,
00:58:40after what happened on Raw.
00:58:41And right now, Chavo looking pretty good.
00:58:46Chavo trying to gain more of an unfair advantage
00:58:48here on the outside.
00:58:50Must be leery of being counted out.
00:58:55MVP with a footless kneeling.
00:59:00Chavo Guerrero got caught coming back in the ring.
00:59:03Look at that strength.
00:59:05Straight over the top rope.
00:59:07Strength and leverage.
00:59:10It's a dangerous combination, strength and leverage.
00:59:12MVP ready to go balling.
00:59:22And the three-pointer is good from just outside the key.
00:59:27It's a basketball reference.
00:59:29Quite good enough.
00:59:30Boy, I got it.
00:59:31Watch this.
00:59:34Chavo Guerrero not going down without a fight.
00:59:38What a beautiful overhead throw.
00:59:40Guerrero's own momentum worked against him there.
00:59:42He may not go down without a fight.
00:59:44Just like that, MVP has ended this match as a contest.
00:59:49A primetime performance by MVP.
01:00:03MVP's got to be thinking, Madison Square Garden,
01:00:06here I come next Friday night.
01:00:13A million-dollar smile by the man who signed the largest contract
01:00:17in SmackDown history.

01:02:55And earlier tonight, you heard from Edge,
01:02:57and last night on WWE Superstars,
01:02:59I had the opportunity to interview John Cena
01:03:01on the heels of getting concerto'd by Edge.
01:03:08John, how's what happened Monday going to affect you this Sunday at Backlash?

01:03:19and I'm erring to go for that World Championship match at Backlash.
01:03:22I'm not going to do that.
01:03:24This is also the point where you probably have some follow-up questions
01:03:28which you want me to answer.
01:03:29You know what? I'm not going to answer those.
01:03:32Unfortunately, tonight, I'm not going to talk to you.
01:03:37For once, I'd like to talk to you.
01:03:43All the viewers watching Superstars.
01:03:46Now, the footage you just saw was,
01:03:49some might say, overly graphic.
01:03:57But unfortunately, it was a necessity.
01:04:03You see, the rivalry between Edge and myself,
01:04:08it simply has nowhere else to go.
01:04:13We've walked down every road.
01:04:14We've danced every step.

01:04:49What if the Yankees and the Red Sox,
01:04:52what if they're only going to play one more game?
01:04:56You think you could drag any one of the nine off the field and ask them,

01:05:07Would they risk their health to be the better man?

01:05:46I'm still here, and I am thirsty.

01:05:53At Backlash, the two of us will stand in that ring face-to-face,

01:06:00Knowing that at the final bell, only one man will be able to tell the story

01:06:16Knowing at the end of the night on Backlash,
01:06:21there will only be one last man standing.
01:06:31JR, I don't think I've ever seen John Cena that intense before in his entire career.
01:06:36I still am concerned about the damage done on Monday night by Edge with that concerto.
01:06:41I quite frankly don't like Cena's chances on Sunday.
01:06:43Well, it will happen. It will be last man standing at Backlash,

01:07:05Again, the rules, last man standing.
01:07:08The man that cannot rise before a 10 count will lose on Sunday.
01:07:13And it's a brotherly rivalry, and someone will have to give up.
01:07:18The world will see, the world will hear,
01:07:21one of the Hardy brothers say, I quit at Backlash.
01:07:25And the wrestling prodigy will face off against Christian for all the marbles.
01:07:30Will Christian return to WWE to become a champion again?
01:07:34He'll have that opportunity this Sunday against Jack Swampert.
