Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump proposed three debates in September, hosted by Fox News, ABC News, and NBC News. Despite previously canceling the ABC News debate after President Biden exited the race, Trump confirmed that the Sept. 10 debate with Vice President Kamala Harris is back on. Harris, who has agreed to the ABC debate, hinted she might be open to an additional debate. Trump's proposed dates are Sept. 4, Sept. 10, and Sept. 25, though final details are pending. CBS News will also host a vice presidential debate between Ohio Sen. JD Vance and the Democratic nominee.
