00:00But today, you don't have to have that cocktail,
00:02but you kind of have the same balanced
00:05pharmaceutical approach to this disease.
00:10I'll close out by saying, it's high time that we recognize
00:14that there's this subgroup of people who are somewhat rare,
00:18but they are there.
00:20And if they're not treated correctly,
00:22the complications get out of control, life gets short,
00:26overdoses occur, it's a terrible situation.
00:28They need to be identified and need to be treated.
00:32And lastly, anybody who says this is a hopeless condition
00:35or shouldn't be treated just doesn't understand it.
00:38So I'm calling for diagnosis, recognition, treatment,
00:42and above all, not to cast out these people
00:46because they just got another disease,
00:48and frankly, isn't any harder to treat
00:50than a lot of others that we treat in medicine every day.
00:53So I'm delighted to have a first shot
00:55at educating people about this,
00:57but I've got a lot more to say,
00:59so I look forward to joining you again.
01:00Good evening.
