00:00Before, uh, Kamala, you know, picked Tim as her running mate, were, were you undecided
00:07on who you were voting for or were you kind of already probably voting for Kamala Harris?
00:11Uh, I was certainly undecided.
00:14Uh, I, I don't think I, I likely wouldn't have voted for that ticket.
00:19I don't know.
00:20I don't know.
00:21It's hard to say.
00:22Uh, I know who I wasn't voting for.
00:23Um, and I wouldn't say Kamala Harris was the side I wasn't voting for, but, uh, you know,
00:29I was, I was really undecided.
00:30I mean, and this, it's slam dunk now for me, but, uh, I don't know what direction I would
00:36have gone to be honest with you.
00:37Historically, if you went back, I'm a third party guy, I've just always kind of rooted
00:40for the underdog.
00:41I was a Ralph Nader guy back in the early 2000s and, you know, like Kennedy and all
00:47the stuff he is up to, you know, but, uh, now that my guy is on this ticket, it's, it's
00:52no brainer to me.
00:53Cause everybody on that football team mattered to Tim Walls, you know, and my background,
00:58I was, I was the type of student that I would have been the player that would have been
01:01easy to just shove aside.
01:03You know, I came with some baggage and gave my teachers a hard time and school wasn't
01:07really a priority for me, but Tim Walls gave me the attention and care that said, okay,
01:11I'm going to continue to work hard.
01:13I'm going to stay here.
01:14And I have no doubt he'll do that for the rest of the country because everybody matters
01:17to that man.
01:18And, uh, there's no joke behind that.
01:20And so he's going to do whatever he thinks, you know, he was just so good with me because
01:24it was such personal, you know, uh, there's no one pat answer, you know, he'll, he'll
01:31speak to the individual and the needs of that individual and adapt accordingly as needed.
01:35That will be most beneficial to those folks.
01:37I mean, just overall, a great coach, right.
01:41And it starts with his energy, his energy, his care, his attention, right.
01:45Uh, he's just the type of guy you want to do well for.
01:49Right.
01:50And, and he, he takes the time for everybody, you know, um, he took some special attention
01:56with me, uh, no doubt, which was a catalyst for me to continue to want to play football
02:01even and continue to want to go to school.
02:04And so, you know, with his guidance and, and, uh, and being able to provide a, uh, you know,
02:10an opportunity to write for me to, you know, have a, I don't know how you'd want to say
02:16it purpose, I guess.
02:18Yeah.
02:19He gave me some purpose as a young kid, young, uh, troubled little kid, uh, having a tough
02:24time making it.
02:25And, uh, when I met him and he just gave me so much attention and care that, uh, it was
02:29my pleasure to work hard for him.
