00:05former President Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Bong Go, and others on Wednesday, August 7.
00:10This time, Trillanes files the complaints over the alleged anomalous government frigate
00:14acquisition project amounting to 16 billion pesos.
00:18The allegations stem from Trillanes' allegation that Duterte and the other respondents allegedly
00:23pushed for the installation of a combat management system into two military frigates which were
00:28inferior to what was originally specified in the government contract.
00:32He alleges the government officials acted with evident bad faith and gave unwarranted
00:36benefits and advantages to a private contractor.
00:39Trillanes says the complaint is based on the findings of a 2018 Senate probe and on testimonies
00:43of officials privy to the manipulation.
00:46Go dismisses Trillanes' allegations as, quote, rehashed accusations.
