National Handloom Day in TG : రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా జాతీయ చేనేత దినోత్సవాన్ని ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. చేనేత, జౌళిశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో హైదరాబాద్‌ నెక్లెస్‌ రోడ్డులోని పీపుల్స్‌ ప్లాజాలో వస్త్ర ప్రదర్శనను ఆ శాఖ మంత్రి తుమ్మల నాగేశ్వరరావు ప్రారంభించారు. నేత కార్మికుల బీమా కోసం 6 కోట్ల రూపాయల చెక్కును ఎల్ఐసీ అధికారులకు అందించారు. చేనేతకు పునరుజ్జీవం కల్పించేందుకు ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం కృషి చేస్తుందని తెలిపారు.
