Occasional rains may persist in parts of Luzon, Visayas due to ‘habagat’

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) continues to monitor a low pressure area (LPA) and a tropical depression near the country, but the southwest monsoon will remain the dominant weather system, potentially bringing rains to parts of Luzon and the Visayas over the next 24 hours.
