00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines, or AFP, has confirmed that 400 military personnel are
00:05assigned to Vice President Sara Duterte's security detail as part of the Vice Presidential Security
00:11Group under the Presidential Security Command, or PSC. This number adds to the police officers
00:18from the Police Security and Protection Group of the Philippine National Police, or PNP,
00:23and the AFP supports the PNP's statement that adequate security is in place for the Vice
00:29President despite a reduction in her police security detail and no report serious security
00:35threats against her.
00:38Suffice to say that that would be enough because if need be, so for example there will be big
00:44engagements that are involved, say a rally, they just request and if the PSC can't support
00:53for organic, we usually do augmentations.
