Die Tisch-Skulptur PLANTSE À DÉKOPÂ [patois, Dialekt der französischen Sprache: Küchenbrettchen] entstand auf Einladung der Ecav, Schule für Gestaltung und Hochschule für Kunst Wallis und des SPL, Sauvegarde Patrimoine, im Rahmen eines partizipatorischen Kunstprojektes zusammen mit den Bewohnern der Gemeinde Leytron im Schweizerischen Kanton Wallis. Das Dorf beschäftigt sich seit Jahrzehnten mit der Frage, wie kulturelles Erbe geschützt und an nachfolgende Generationen weitergegeben werden kann. The table sculpture PLANTSE À DÉKOPÂ [patois, dialect of the French language: cutting board] was created on invitation by Ecav, School of Design and School of Art Valais and the SPL, Sauvegarde Patrimoine, as a participatory art project together with the inhabitants of the municipality of Leytron in the Swiss canton of Valais. For decades until now, the village has been grappling with the question of how cultural heritage can be protected and passed on to future generations. Documentation of the Opening.
