00:00Suspended Mayor Alice Guo is likely to face a criminal case of violation of the election code, according to the Commission on Elections.

00:08It was confirmed by their fact-finding team that the mayor's fingerprints are the same as those of his real acquaintance, Guo Hua Ping.

00:24Both are the same and only one person has these fingerprints.

00:29As a result of the investigation by the NBI, the fact-finding team of COMELEC found that one person is Guo Hua Ping and Alice Leal Guo.

00:38In the examination of the fingerprints in the Voter's Registration Certificate of Candidacy,

00:43and when Alice Guo voted in 2022 and 2023,

00:47the same fingerprints were found in the NBI clearance that was named after Alice Guo,

00:53and in the Alien Registration Card of the Bureau of Immigration that was named after Guo Hua Ping.

00:58Because the mayor lied, the COMELEC Legal Department in COMELEC on Bank recommended the filing of a case of misrepresentation,

01:06a criminal case of violation of the Omnibus Election Code.

01:10It has a penalty of one to six years in prison, perpetual disqualification from office and no pardon,

01:17except if COMELEC allows it.

01:19If there's a filing of information, there's a warrant of arrest because it's a criminal case.

01:25COMELEC on Bank may issue a decision next week.

01:28If approved, the complaint will be filed to the Tarlac Regional Trial Court.

01:32Guo may also face a case of perjury.

01:36This is also a lesson to everyone.

01:38Because no one will file a disqualification or cancellation of the candidacy,

01:42we cannot lie to our Certificate of Candidacy because you may be charged with a criminal case.

01:50These actions were premature, said Stephen David, the lawyer of Mayor Guo.

01:55He believes that before the client is charged,

01:58the court should first say that the birth certificate and Philippine passport of Mayor Guo are fake.

02:03To say that he had a misrepresentation, the court needs to give a conclusion first.

02:08If we receive formal notice to answer or reply, I will file a motion to dismiss.

02:15For me, there are prejudicial issues that need to be resolved.

02:19The co-warrant of petition issued by the Solicitor General is also premature.

02:23The proclamation to Guo as mayor is far from having a visa.

02:27According to David, Guo is in the Philippines.
