00:00Hey, I thought I'd give you these today as well.
00:05The updated look.
00:06We try to look at these every week on coast to coast, and that is some of the awards and
00:10where they're at.
00:11A few of them are looking like runaways with eight weeks left in the season, including
00:16both of the MVPs, maybe AL side, look at where judges now, Scotty, that would be minus a
00:21thousand is where they have judge as the favorite.
00:25I know that I've seen a lot of the charts and graphs crowd start to bang the drum for
00:32Bobby Witt Jr. with the amazing July that he had, but hard to argue with a guy who's
00:39a homer and an RBI short of 40 and 100 on August 1st.
00:44Yeah, like honestly, I think Bobby Witt's been awesome to watch, and he's been tearing
00:52it up, that's great and everything.
00:53But he's honestly, he's not on that level of Aaron judge, he's not on his tier at all.
01:01In fact, you know, who is Ohtani?
01:07That's it.
01:08There's only one guy that's on his tier.
01:10And I'll tell you another thing, like you'd rather face Bobby Witt or Juan Soto.
01:16I'd rather face Bob Witt, because I think Soto does more damage than Witt.
01:21And they got Witt way ahead of Soto on that list.
01:24And you can't tell me, do you really think that Witt's better than Juan Soto?
01:30I'm going to just ask you right now, flush.
01:37I think that Witt's very, very good.
01:40I think that it's a different conversation, maybe a year or two from now.
01:44I think Witt might be better than Juan Soto.
01:47In a couple of years, he might be better.
01:50But is he better right now?
01:51Who would you fear more in the batter's box in a playoff game, Bobby Witt or Juan Soto?
01:59I would have to lean Soto at this point.
02:02But I think it's a lot closer than we think.
02:05I think that it's very close.
02:06I think Witt's no joke.
02:09I put him on the same tier as Soto.
02:12I don't put him on their tier, fair enough?
02:15So if Witt's gotten that good, then I'd put him on the same tier, because I don't think
02:19that Soto's just so incredible.
02:22I've had this conversation with you.
02:23I don't think he's so incredible that I'm giving him $380 million, $400 million.
02:28I'm not doing it.
02:29I'm not giving him 12 years and trout money or even judge money.
02:34I think he's a really great player that, in my opinion, deserves less years and less money.
02:42I don't think he deserves that gigantic 12-year thing that they've been giving out to everybody.
02:48I don't buy that.
02:49But I put him on the same tier as Witt.
02:50But I put Judge and Otani on a stratosphere, penthouse tier, that's untouchable by any
02:56other players in baseball.
02:58There's no one on that level.
03:00And that's why they're both such heavy favorites right now for both of those awards.
