00:00Question for you, which we kind of discussed earlier today, and biggest concern, like include
00:07everything. Everything's on the table, right? Players, everything, coaches, organization.
00:13Biggest concern right now for you is what? Offensive line.
00:16Oh, okay.
00:17Without a doubt. I don't have a lot of faith, and even this week, something that we didn't
00:22want to creep up crept up with David Andrews missing some practice time. You only have two
00:26linemen, right? And apparently-
00:30Don't you need five?
00:31You do need five.
00:32You need five, all right.
00:33It's why I giggled when Gerard Mayo said, we don't have starters on the offensive line
00:37right now. I was like, I agree, Gerard, but I don't think it's the same way you need it.
00:40That's not like a weird philosophy on life. That's a problem.
00:44It is a problem. Now they've settled in a little bit where Caden Wallace has been at left tackle.
00:52So is that experiment that they told us might work going to work? Okurafor has moved. They
00:58aren't using Onwenu at tackle. I don't know if that's, they've decided he's just not as good
01:04as those other guys, or he's just flat out so good at guard, he can be a more valuable asset there
01:10with his size. And we know most teams consider him a guard. So the offensive line to me,
01:17I think we're going to question it all year long, because there's going to be injuries
01:21and now you're hearing, and Gresh, I don't know anything about this stuff.
01:25I don't even pretend to know about this stuff, but these Scott Peters, I think they're calling
01:31them strike principles or something. The O-line coach.
01:34Oh boy. The O-line coach, Scott Peters,
01:36is teaching these various strike principles that the players are starting to believe actually work.
01:42And they have all these different strike methods. It's like a karate kid, Cobra Kai,
01:48strike first, no mercy, sir. You teach hand placement. That's what we're
01:53going to do in here. Yeah. But even that, his teaching principles
01:57and how it melds with his talent and how that melds with the wide zone runs and all those things.
02:02I'll tell you the most alarming thing to me that I've seen most of camp is almost every time they
02:07run the wide zone boot, for some reason, someone on the backside is always in the quarterback's
02:12mug. That play is supposed to be nice and easy, wide open. I got a little guy for a five-yard
02:17gain in the flat. Like, ooh, let's make the quarterback feel. It's my prediction of the
02:21first Drake May play. When Drake May plays, I think the first play he would-
02:24Bootleg.
02:25Wide zone bootleg. And the problem is 75% of the time when they run it, there's like
02:31Keon White or Dietrich Wise or somebody right there. Now I'm leaving the door open for that's
02:36one of those training camp, tell kind of things where you've seen the lineup and the play
02:43and that the other team won't necessarily have that edge. But yeah, the offensive line to me,
02:48until proven otherwise, is the fatal flaw of this team and the biggest question.
