Medics tried to save 'lifeless' body of mum before she died in house fire

A woman has died and two children left fighting for their lives after a 'suspicious' house fire.
The woman, 31, was pulled from the blaze with the two girls, aged eight and ten, and taken to hospital this morning (Weds).
But she tragically died of her injuries, police said.
Emergency services were called to the house in Leeds Road in Huddersfield, West Yorks., at 2.24am following reports of a burn.
West Yorkshire Police said they are treating the incident as ‘suspicious’ but are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the fire.
A police cordon remains in place at the property today (Wed).
