00:00Go ahead.
00:02On Venezuela, you said you're waiting for data to be published, but the Venezuela's
00:05National Electoral Council is still saying Maduro has won the election and secured another
00:10term in office.
00:11So if they won't publish the data you requested, would you eventually be recognizing the results
00:18and maybe even congratulate Maduro?
00:20So I'm not going to get ahead of this process.
00:23Maduro and his representatives declared themselves the winner of what we believe is a national
00:28election that was undermined by anti-democratic actions, political repression, and electoral
00:34manipulation.
00:35The Secretary was very clear about this over yesterday.
00:39The international community is watching, and we'll respond accordingly.
00:43The best path forward is for a clear publication of the tabulation data.
00:50That is what is owed to the election observers.
00:52That's what's owed to the opposition, and we'll take this process one step at a time.
00:57And how long would you be waiting for that?
00:59I'm not going to put a timeline on anything.
01:02It is very clear what the path forward here should be.
01:06We have, and other countries in the region, mind you, have very clearly laid out that
01:10they are interested in seeing this tabulation data, as is the United States.
01:15That is the best way to resolve this peacefully, is seeing that information, and so we'll be
01:19continuing to monitor these conditions quite closely.
