There is still no decision on Datuk Seri Najib Razak's representation to the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) to drop his three other money laundering charges involving SRC International Sdn Bhd funds amounting to RM27mil, the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard on Wednesday (July 31).

00:19Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohamed Ashraf Adrin Kamarul said the status quo remains unchanged.
00:25The prosecution then requested a new case management date, noting that he would inform
00:30the court if there is any further developments.
00:33Meanwhile, Najib's lawyer, Tanshri Mohamed Shafi Abdullah, requested the court vacate
00:39the hearing dates in September due to the defence's busy schedule in August.
00:44He said this is due to SRC International's civil lawsuit against Najib and former 1MDB
00:50CEO Nik Faisal Arif Kamil.
00:53Mohamed Shafi said the civil case has been prioritised by the court.
00:58Justice K. Munyandi then fixed new dates in April and May next year.
01:02He also set February 26 for case management.
01:05In February 2019, the former Prime Minister had claimed trial to three charges of money-laundering
01:11by accepting proceeds from unlawful activities amounting to 27 million ringgit through his
01:17three amprivate banking accounts under Section 4, Subsection 1A of the Anti-Money-Laundering
01:23and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act, 2001.
