00:00The Department of Agriculture, or DA, is set to begin the controlled vaccination of African
00:05Swine Fever, or ASF, in September. This, as Food and Drug Administration, or FDA,
00:11approved the Avac ASF vaccine from Vietnam. 600,000 hogs are expected to be inoculated.
00:18Moreover, the DA has allocated 350 million pesos for its ASF immunization program.
00:24If the vaccine is really effective, definitely, it will have a big effect on our production,
00:33because people will now invest again, and we will be able to breed more swine,
00:40so there's a good chance that the price of pork will go down.
