00:04certificate of product registration for the African Swine Fever or ASF vaccine. According
00:10to AGA Partylist Representative Nicanor Briones, while the free government provided vaccine might
00:16not immediately affect pork prices, it is a crucially long-awaited support for the swine
00:20industry. The Department of Agriculture or DA has allocated 350 million pesos for purchasing
00:26the vaccines and plans to distribute 150,000 doses to ASF affected areas like Batangas and
00:33Mindoro next month. The swine sector thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for the free
00:38vaccines and expressed hope for a bird flu vaccine in the future.
00:56We hope that the free vaccines will bring hope to our farmers who have been suffering
