00:00Yesterday, the big deal, a three-team trade between the Dodgers, Cardinals, and White
00:08Sox.
00:09The White Sox selling, of course, now riding a 15-game losing skid.
00:13Eric Fetty and Tommy Pham make their way to St. Louis.
00:17Michael Kopech, some bullpen bolstering for the Dodgers, makes his way to L.A.
00:23Tommy Edmund also going to Los Angeles, and in return, the White Sox acquire a bunch of
00:29young talent.
00:31How about that?
00:32PTBNL, a player to be named later, makes its way on the graphic as well.
00:37Yeah, but we're taking a look at some of these, and it's a shame that we're leading off with
00:41these type of deals, because what we wanted out of the Dodgers was absolute fireworks
00:46and blockbuster moves.
00:47Now, having said that, we still are looking forward to a day that could have some of those
00:51fireworks a little bit later.
00:53But if you're asking me, and for the past three weeks, what we were looking forward
00:56to, I'm going to let you say the Dodgers, because they did come up in this deal.
00:59They didn't get anybody, like Michael Kopech, the average player.
01:02Tommy Edmund, who even knows if he's going to play, just play a bench guy at this point.
01:05So it's interesting to see to me, because I expected the Dodgers to say, we have more
01:09money and more prospects than anybody.
01:11We are going to overflow baseball, where people are going to be screaming, crying by the time
01:15you wake up on Wednesday morning by saying, it's not fair, the Dodgers just won the World
01:19Series.
01:20That's what I'm waiting for at this point.
01:21So when I analyze this deal, I don't think anybody got better, and I'm quite frankly
01:25sure why these deals even went down, other than just to move players off of the White
01:28Sox at this point.
