00:37Veteran opposition figure Kiza Besigye claimed the 36 people were beaten by Kenyan police
00:43and their belongings confiscated before being extradited to Uganda.
00:48The defense lawyer says the charges, which come amid widespread anti-government protests,
00:54are entirely fabricated.

01:18Last week, Ugandan security forces detained over a hundred young people for participating
