ओल्ड राजेंद्र नगर की घटना पर वहां के छात्रों में अभी भी आक्रोश है। यूपीएससी की तैयारी कर रहे एक छात्र, दक्ष शर्मा ने बताया कि वो अभी चुपचाप प्रदर्शन कर रहें हैं और हम ये पुछना चाहते हैं कि मुआवजे के तौर पर दस लाख रुपये दिए गए हैं क्या ये सही है? दुसरी बात ये कि यहां की जिम्मेदारी कौन लेगा? इतनी गंदगी और बदबू है इसे साफ करने की जिम्मेदारी नगर पालिका की है और हम चाहते हैं ये साफ हो ताकि वो घटना दोबारा ना घटे। यहां पर पानी जमा होने का कारण यह है कि यह एक नीचा क्षेत्र है सीवर लाइनें अभी भी काम नहीं कर रही है क्योंकि उनमें इतना पानी एक साथ जाने के लिए जगह ही नहीं है। इसके साथ ही दक्ष शर्मा ने छात्र को उचित मुआवजा देने की मांग की है।

01:28All the SOPs and the underground coaching which is being run illegally, which is not allowed by MCD, not allowed by the government, not allowed by DD as well.
01:37They should stop all the coaching or not allow it in the basement.
01:41And libraries and PG owners who are having tenants in their residential as well.
01:47Someone has a fifth floor, someone has a building height of more than 15 meters.
01:51Porta cabins have been made on the top floors.
01:53MCD and nobody, no one is checking it.
01:56This will continue till we don't get proper SOPs.

02:36On the road like Pusa road, all the coachings are open in the main running traffic.
02:41If this is happening there, and that too students who are preparing for IAS, who are going to become bureaucrats.
02:46If this is happening with them, people are taking huge fees, who are running coaching centres here.
02:51Despite that, why is there a need that they have to run in the basement?
02:54They run multiple batches, 15-16 batches, maybe more than that.
02:58A thing like basement is not used for any purpose of commercial activity.
03:04Unless it is for storage or for lift lobby, that's all.
03:08It can be used for parking space, that's all.
03:10They have not followed the SOPs and now they have to take the fall for it.
