00:00All right, welcome back to Snack Boys.
00:02I'm Eddie.
00:03On the other end is Clem.
00:04In the middle of us is Stephen Chae.
00:06He will be joining us to review Reese's Popcorn.
00:09This says it's popcorn with chocolatey drizzle
00:11and peanut butter cream.
00:13Stephen, you are well known for being a guy
00:16who eats a full bucket of popcorn
00:18during the credits before the movie even starts.
00:20So do you have anything to say?
00:21You're a popcorn guy.
00:22Are you a Reese's guy?
00:24I am, yes.
00:25And I do, I've recently gotten into the last couple of years
00:27like the drizzle popcorn.
00:29So when I had a few options and this was one of them,
00:33easy, I loved it.
00:34So you have high hopes for this, needless to say.
00:35I have very high hopes for this.
00:37Okay.
00:38Peanut butter I'm less sure about,
00:39chocolate and popcorn is pretty good.
00:40Can I say one thing?
00:41I'm always a little hesitant with packaged popcorn.
00:45Yeah, that's fair.
00:46I'm very, very, I couldn't be higher
00:48on fresh popcorn at the movies, like you said,
00:50but packaged, I'm nervous.
00:52Popcorn at the movies, do you guys put any candy
00:55on like M&Ms or Snickers or anything like that
00:57or is it just pure love again?
01:00If I'm feeling a little sassy,
01:01I'll throw some M&Ms in there, but not often.
01:03I love to do that, but I feel like the popcorn
01:05a lot of times is not hot enough to like make it happen.
01:08You know?
01:09Oh, you got to go in there and feed her then.
01:10A lot of them just have like them ready to go
01:12on the conveyor belt now, unfortunately.
01:14Conveyor belt?
01:15Yeah, you haven't seen those?
01:16No.
01:17I'll take a picture next time I go.
01:17Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:18Yeah.
01:19All right, needless to say, let's get into it.
01:20Let me just say this,
01:21I understand the hesitance about bagged popcorn.
01:25However, Reese's knows how to bag things.
01:26So I feel like they might be all right here.
01:28True.
01:30Smells good.
01:31Oh yeah.
01:32The look, it doesn't look like I would have thought.
01:35No?
01:36What are we missing here?
01:37I would have thought it's like heavy.
01:39Okay, now I see it.
01:40Maybe I just got some top size, but.
01:42You were thinking it didn't look like
01:43it was covered much, right?
01:44Yes, yes.
01:45Because I had the same thoughts,
01:46which concerned me greatly.
01:47Because I'm coming for the Reese's.
01:48I'm not coming for the popcorn, right?
01:50So like, this is good.
01:51This has enough.
01:52But then if you turn it around,
01:53it's like, all right, it's a bear boy.
01:59Okay.
02:05Let's see what they're doing here.
02:06Boys, I'm in.
02:09A little bit of salt on there too.
02:10Yep.
02:11All right.
02:13Because I have a tape,
02:14but I need to justify it with this.
02:15It needs to be a little distributed more of the chocolate.
02:17Some have a lot, some have barely any.
02:19Yep.
02:20Agreed.
02:21I think it's good.
02:23But if you buy one of these at like a farmer's market
02:26or like a supermarket or a candy place,
02:29a place that's gonna specialize in chocolate or popcorn,
02:32it's less popcorn, heavy,
02:35the dessert topping out of the chocolate or whatever.
02:38This is not that.
02:40The problem with those is if you buy them,
02:43you eat the whole thing, you feel terrible afterwards.
02:45It's really good and good the whole way.
02:48This, you guys mentioned,
02:50doesn't have enough distribution, I would think.
02:53However, if you're buying this,
02:55you can eat the whole bag and you'll be good.
02:57And I think that's a great, salty, sweet combo
03:00because you can do the whole bag.
03:02Yep.
03:03I'm very in.
03:04I think it's really good.
03:05I think you get by the distribution problems
03:08by having like three kernels.
03:09One will take care of the other ones.
03:10You know, you grab three or four.
03:12Yep.
03:13I'm going seven, eight.
03:15I think it's really good.
03:17Yeah, so like looking at that, great distribution.
03:19But then you shake it up a little bit.
03:20Maybe not as much.
03:236.9.
03:24Okay.
03:26I'm with you here.
03:28This almost feels like it should be, you know,
03:31insert popcorn company name with Reese's.
03:33Instead of Reese's popcorn,
03:35I'm thinking Reese's with popcorn.
03:37Yes, yes.
03:37This feels like popcorn with Reese's.
03:40So because of that, you're right.
03:416.4 on the Reese's scale.
03:44Again, Reese's has a high floor where I'm looking at it,
03:47but then the ceiling,
03:48you want to get like an eight in Reese's scale in.
03:51You got to bring the pain.
03:52This doesn't bring the pain enough.
03:53More Reese's, higher score, I think.
03:56I think if you get this on a road trip
03:57at like a rest stop or a gas station,
03:58this is not a shareable thing.
04:00I think this is just if you want to get the full effect,
04:02where if you get a Flip's or something like that,
04:05that is a shareable.
04:07It also won't kill your hands in the car too badly,
04:09I don't think, because it's not heavy.
04:10That's a pro.
04:11I think you guys are a little harsh on these.
04:14I think this is really good.
04:15I think it's good,
04:16but I think it's better as a bag
04:17as opposed to a little bit.
04:19Yeah, so you would like a smaller bag,
04:20is what you're saying?
04:21No, I would eat the whole bag.
04:22Gotcha, okay.
04:24This guy would eat it in the previews
04:25before the movie starts.
04:26Well, that's why you pay for the Stubb's card.
04:30Yes, you're right, you're right.
04:32Free refills on the large popcorn,
04:34plus you get upgraded sizes,
04:35and then yeah, you crush during the preview,
04:38you go get a refill,
04:39so you're good the rest of the movie.
04:41AMC Stubbs, you want to sponsor this,
04:43hit the sales team up.
04:43Let us know.
04:46Justice for Reese's Popcorn.
04:47Thank you, Stephen Sharer.
04:48Thanks, guys.
04:48Got him his popcorn.
04:50Thanks, Stephen.
