सदन में राहुल गांधी ने कहा की सरकार अग्निवीर योजना को लेकर युवाओं को चक्रव्यूह में फंसा रही है इस पर रिटायर्ड मेजर जनरल ने कहा, यह जो अग्निवीर योजना है देश के साथ और युवाओं के साथ धोखा है। आज एक अच्छे सैनिक को तैयार करने में 7 से 8 साल लग जाते हैं। हमारे जो सैनिक है उसमें जब तक रेजीमेंट की भावना मजबूत ना हो वह लड़ाई में उतना सफल नहीं हो सकती। आज युवा ज्यादा घबराए हुए हैं। विपक्ष और देशवासियों का हक बनता है कि वो सवाल करें और सरकार की हर नीति पर सवाल उठाएं। एक ऐसी योजना जो देश की सेवा से जुड़ी है, देश की सुरक्षा से जुड़ी है। इस योजना को लेकर संसद में बहस की जाए। एक पार्लियामेंट कमेटी बनाई जाए और इस पर विचार करें या इस पर इंप्रूवमेंट करें।
