00:15Hold on.
00:16Hold on.
00:17Hold on.
00:18Wrong channel.
00:19This is Straight From The Expert and I am Rocco Ruiz.
00:22It is a special episode today because I will be sharing with you how you can start getting
00:28into content creation and hopefully turn it into a lucrative career.
00:33Online careers are very in demand these days.
00:35So whether you're an aspiring blogger, TikTokerist, social media influencer, or entrepreneur,
00:42mastering the art of content creation and learning how to sell products online is essential
00:47if you want to make your mark in the digital world.
00:51Watch this video and learn tips and tricks from a content creator, that's me, on how
00:57you can turn your passion into a career.
01:00Let's go, bro!
01:06So, content creation.
01:07I actually started making content a long time ago as in I would borrow my dad's camcorder.
01:12After high school, I would use a digicam.
01:15But now, when you're making content, all you need is a cellphone and a ring light and that's
01:20already content.
01:21What matters is your idea.
01:22As it all started, I made one skit.
01:25One parody Konya content that parodied me and my friends.
01:29And then, after that, people just kept commenting, more kuya, more Konya content.
01:34And now, from one skit that I didn't plan on making more of, I have 100 plus Konya skits
01:39online.
01:40Just have an idea that you think your friends will find funny and who knows, everyone else
01:44in the country might find it funny, right?
01:46And when it comes to equipment, you don't really need a lot of things and that depends
01:49on what type of content creator you are, of course.
01:51Some people need lights, cameras, all that stuff.
01:54But for me, a ring light and a cellphone and a laptop so that there's an open script nearby
02:01that I can look at for my ideas.
02:03There.
02:04And of course, if you're like a content creator that likes making skits like me and you play
02:09all of the characters yourself, it helps to have many outfits ready so that you can get
02:13into the headspace of the character.
02:15So when it comes to the technicals, here are a few frequently asked questions.
02:18What do I use to edit?
02:19Now, you can edit on your phone, on the apps itself.
02:22But for me, I'm more comfortable editing on my computer because the phone screen is so tiny.
02:27But if you're used to editing on your phone, that's okay.
02:29There are no rules that apply to everybody.
02:32If you're starting out, I suggest you post at least twice a week or three times a week.
02:37That way, you can build up a library.
02:38Is there a prime time to post?
02:40And in my opinion, when is it that my audience is just at home and they're not doing anything
02:45and they're not watching anything else?
02:46And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for or I've all been waiting for.
02:51Drumrolls!
02:52There, right?
02:53I know that the grammar is wrong because it's just a joke.
02:57And the content I'm going to shoot is a typical Konyo skit and in my Konyo skits, I have different
03:01characters.
03:02So what I like to do is, I shoot one character first, all of its lines, and then on question
03:06number two, I switch characters and then I put it together on my laptop where I edit.
03:11And now, let's start with the content creation.
03:13So I have my laptop here so that the script I wrote is in view because I don't memorize
03:18my scripts and I don't improvise my scripts.
03:21But if you do that, you do you.
03:23My content is usually 40 seconds because personally, that's what I watch for content, 30 to 40 seconds.
03:29So that's what I like to make my content like also.
03:32I want to have more fun with it and wear different outfits and even change my voice.
03:36So sometimes, my voice is nasal and sometimes, it's lower and cooler.
03:41Just so I can really make different characters all appear like they're different people in
03:45one skit.
03:46So here is my red hoodie and my black hoodie.
03:49Let's shoot this TikTok.
03:53So after I recorded my phone, I just airdrop it to my laptop so that I can edit from my
03:57laptop.
03:58Now, it looks like two different people talking to each other because there's a rock.
04:02After that, you can add some sound effects too if you want to.
04:05If you're the type to add like laughing tracks, you can.
04:08And then after that, just export on your laptop and then send it to your phone and post.
04:13And boom, you have content.
04:15And of course, one of the good parts about being a content creator these days is you
04:18can have fun doing it and earn money as well.
04:21Now, it depends on the platform you're posting on.
04:23Some platforms will pay you for the views you get.
04:27For example, your content gets millions of views.
04:29There's also a fee that will go to you.
04:32And another way you can earn money with content is product placements or brand deals.
04:36Personally, I'm more dependent on that because I don't want to rely on views too much because
04:42it's too much pressure.
04:43So more of like, if a brand wants to be featured in your content, that's another way to earn money.
04:48And lastly, the most important part about being a content creator is you shouldn't
04:52lose focus on the main objective which is having fun and spreading good energy.
04:58Because if you're just going to make content spreading negative things, negative energy,
05:03then why are you still doing it?
05:05There are already a lot of negatives in the world.
05:07You're still young.
05:08So, good vibes.
05:10Spread good vibes here.
05:11So, let's watch the content we made together using the tips and tricks we just discussed
05:17here on Straight From The Expert.
05:21See you in part 2.
