The weather Gods were with the organisers and all those that turned out for another colourful fun-packed Narberth Carnival on the weekend.
The carnival held in the town on Saturday, July 27, was the culmination of Narberth Civic Week which started on Sunday, July 21 featuring a full programme of events and entertainment for all the family.
Goodwick Brass Band played throughout the parade, which featured some fantastic fancy dress walkers, and floats such as a superb pirate ship from the Narberth Nobblers, and a nod to the Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony.
“I just can’t thank you enough everyone who has attended,” said Narberth’s Mayor and Civic Week chair Cllr Chris Walters.
‘Thank you also to the weather gods as well, who have allowed us to put on a nice carnival on a dry day!
“On behalf of myself and my committee, who have worked extremely hard this year, thank you so so much,” added Cllr Walters, who went onto offer a sincere thanks to all the venues that hosted events, sponsors, those that donated raffle prizes, and businesses that joined in.
