00:00Mighty Mack. It was summertime on the island of Sodor. Lots of holidaymakers were coming to the island.
00:11They liked to see the beautiful forests and the high mountains. It was a busy time for all the engines.
00:23A new engine had arrived on the island. He was going to help take the holidaymakers up into the mountains.
00:32Thomas had arrived at the transfer yard. He was very excited to meet the new engine.
00:38Hello, puffed Thomas.
00:40Hello, the new engine puffed back. I'm Mighty.
00:45And I'm Mack.
00:47And together we're Mighty Mack, they whistled happily.
00:51Thomas had never seen such an unusual engine before.
00:56Then the thing controller, Mr. Percival, arrived.
01:00Mighty Mack, you are to take some holidaymakers to the mountain campsite, said Mr. Percival.
01:06Mighty Mack could see the holidaymakers. They were waiting on the platform.
01:12But there were lots of tracks between Mighty Mack and the holidaymakers.
01:17Mighty Mack didn't know how to get to the platform.
01:21We've always worked in the shunting yard, moaned Mighty to Thomas.
01:25How will we find our way over to the passengers, groaned Mack.
01:30It's simple, whistled Thomas. Look at where you want to go, then follow the track that will take you there.
01:39Mighty set off nervously.
01:43But as they puffed along the track, Mack thought his way was quicker.
01:49This way, he said. No, Mack, puffed Mighty, it's this way.
01:54Soon they were puffing left and right, backwards and forwards.
02:01They were very confused. They even had a ride on the turntable.
02:07Then at last, we're here, puffed Mack.
02:12Then why are the holidaymakers over there, asked Mighty.
02:16Because you didn't look where you wanted to go and you didn't follow the right track, said Mr. Percival sternly.
02:22Now you're late.
02:24Sorry, said Mack.
02:26Sorry, said Mighty. They felt very silly.
02:31Finally, the passengers were on board.
02:34Mighty Mack puffed through the countryside on the way to the campsite.
02:41We have to get there before dark, chuffed Mighty.
02:44So we'll have to work extra hard.
02:51Then in the mountains, there was a fork in the track.
02:54Mighty wanted to go left.
02:58This way, he puffed.
03:00No, go the other way, shouted Mack.
03:05But Mighty was already pulling them past the fork.
03:10Mack was cross.
03:12The next time they came to a fork in the track, Mack wanted to go the other way again.
03:19This way, he puffed.
03:21And he pulled Mighty back to the junction.
03:24And then pushed them back up the other line.
03:31Now Mighty was cross.
03:33They puffed through the mountains.
03:35And whenever they came across a junction, Mighty would push one way, then Mack would pull the other.
03:42The holidaymakers were having a very bumpy ride.
03:45They spilt their tea and their bums went flying.
03:50But Mighty Mack pressed on.
03:52But Mighty Mack pressed on.
03:56Then there was trouble.
03:58They had arrived at a dead end.
04:05The holidaymakers had a look around.
04:08This isn't the campsite, said one of the holidaymakers.
04:12It's not even a nice place for our picnic, said another.
04:16This is your fault, puffed Mighty.
04:19And he pushed back towards Mack.
04:22Yours, puffed Mack.
04:24And he pushed back even harder.
04:27The holidaymakers watched as Mighty Mack bumped backwards and forwards.
04:33Stop, called the holidaymakers.
04:35You're going to cause an accident.
04:38But it was too late.
04:40Mighty pushed Mack as hard as he could.
04:43And the carriage crashed into the rocks.
04:47First one rock fell.
04:49Then another rock.
04:53Soon, lots of rocks came tumbling down.
04:59The track was blocked and they were all stuck.
05:04We'll never get to the campsite now, moaned the holidaymakers.
05:09And it was all Mighty Mack's fault.
05:12They felt terrible.
05:16It was getting late.
05:18The holidaymakers were working hard.
05:21They were trying to get the coach back onto the rails.
05:24Then, with a mighty heave,
05:27the holidaymakers lifted the carriage back onto the track.
05:31Mighty Mack was watching the holidaymakers.
05:34When the holidaymakers were together, hooted Mighty,
05:37they lifted the heavy carriage onto the track, tooted Mack.
05:41Then they had an idea.
05:44If we both were together, puffed Mighty,
05:47we'll be strong enough to push those rocks out of the way, puffed Mack.
05:51So Mighty Mack rolled up to the rocks and pushed and pushed.
05:57The rocks rumbled.
05:59Then they rocked until finally the track was clear.
06:04The holidaymakers cheered.
06:07Mighty Mack was ready to go.
06:09They could see the flag flying high above the campsite.
06:13Then they remembered what Thomas had said.
06:16Look where you want to go, puffed Mack.
06:19Then follow the track that will take you there, chuffed Mighty.
06:23Off we go, they whistled together.
06:28Mighty Mack puffed up the mountains.
06:35And soon they arrived at the campsite.
06:40The holidaymakers were very happy.
06:43And Mighty Mack was very proud.
06:46You know, Mack, wheezed Mighty,
06:48when we pull together and work together,
06:51we can be a very useful engine, whistled Mack.
06:55And they set off happily back down the mountain.
