00:37Minnie was a pilgrim. She lived with her family in a small village
00:44There were many pilgrims in her village, but Minnie was the littlest one
00:54Even though she was small, Minnie tried to help with the village chores

01:02One day Minnie decided to be extra helpful
01:09Minnie found her brother by the house. He was stacking wood for the winter. She wanted to help
01:19Look brother Minnie said I am helping to make a woodpile, but Minnie's brother was too busy to notice her

01:31Minnie went inside the house and found her big sister. She was mending a dress
01:40I am ready to sew said Minnie
01:43Sorry, Minnie said her sister. You're too little to help with mending go help mama. I am busy
01:54So Minnie went outside to help her mother
01:57She was at the oven baking bread for dinner
02:04Look mama said Minnie. I am helping
02:08But Minnie's mother was so busy making bread. She didn't even hear Minnie
02:17Minnie went to find her father
02:19Surely he would want some help. He was getting ready to hunt for food in the forest

02:29Sorry, Minnie. You are too little for hunting Minnie's father said when he saw her
02:35Why don't you go pick some berries for us to eat?

02:42Minnie walked toward the berry bushes. She spotted her neighbor. He was fixing the door to his house

02:53Can help Minnie started to say sorry Minnie. This is a big job, and you are too little
03:03Minnie wandered through the village. She was sad
03:11Minnie just wanted to help
03:13But everyone was too busy to notice or they thought the jobs were too big and Minnie was too little

03:25Minnie walked toward the water. She spotted some boys from her village. They were fishing
03:35Can I help you fish Minnie asked one of the boys he laughed sorry Minnie you are too little for fishing

03:47Now Minnie was very sad
03:50Why would no one let her help?
03:52Minnie knew there had to be something special she could do
04:00Even if she was little
04:07Minnie started to walk home and saw some berries along the way as she picked them
04:13She heard something rustling in the leaves
04:16Minnie moved closer to get a better look
04:22There at the edge of the forest stood a girl
04:29And she was little just like Minnie
04:36Hello said Minnie, what's your name?
04:43The girl stood still and looked at Minnie she didn't say a word
04:52Minnie remembered the berries she held in her hand. Do you want one she asked?
05:02At first the girl just stared at Minnie, but soon she began to smile a very big smile
05:13Minnie was too little for many things, but she was not too little to make a friend
