00:03You're very special and very unique,
00:05but there's a really powerful lesson in here.
00:07If you were a diamond in the rough,
00:08and you didn't break it all down,
00:09but you had to overcome a lot of adversity,
00:11and it was your truth,
00:13how did you see possibility where maybe somebody wouldn't?
00:16And how did you go about overcoming that adversity
00:19and persevering?
00:22Yeah, you know, really, Rich, that was a great question.
00:25And really, it was just,
00:31faith in, faith in...
00:37Faith in something more.
00:38Faith in something bigger than the circumstances
00:42that I was facing.
00:45It was something that was within me that was saying,
00:48nah, I know this, this can't be all there is.
00:51I know this is not all there is.
00:52I know that there is more.
00:54How is it possible to obtain that?
00:58And I just always had this innate something in me
01:02that I just wanted to be special.
01:04I wanted to be more.
01:05Though I didn't always feel it,
01:07though I didn't always look like it,
01:09it was something within.
01:10And so I say that to say, in this life,
01:13if you're only waiting on people on the outside
01:17to validate, to give you your...
01:19If you only wait for people on the outside
01:21to give you your validation,
01:23or only trying to follow what's on the outside of you,
01:27sometimes that's where many fall into that trap.
01:32And there was something about me that when I was young,
01:34I just said, man, I wanna become special in my own right.
01:39I see all these other people, phenomenal athletes
01:43and others doing great things.
01:45And I just wanted to be that great myself.
01:47And it really was something within that said,
01:51what do you wanna do and how do you wanna do it?
01:53And I just put forth the effort.
01:56And along the way, I would say the universe blessed me
01:59to have some amazing people along the way in this journey.
02:03And so just truly honored.
