00:00Okay, folks, we're back. Eagle Mountain. This is the fourth through the sixth hole. We're one over
00:04with a birdie, a double, and a par after the first three holes. Great views out here, like I said.
00:09Great value, especially in the middle of summertime. We come to yet another par five.
00:13As you can tell here, awesome view, very good look off the tee, and we get the half pipe effect. Now,
00:18it's not that easy to tell exactly where you're supposed to hit it, but you can see on the right
00:22and the left, everything kind of funnels. You can also see, I don't know that anybody's ever
00:26frozen over the ball more than I did here. Really trying to find it with the driver,
00:30and just standing over it forever. Actually put a great move on that one. I noticed in post,
00:34it kind of clipped off the top of one of those desert bushes in front of me. Once again, we're
00:38in a very similar position to when we were on the first hole. We've got 264 yards. Again, cannot hit
00:44my two iron, 264 yards, but I'm not trying to fly something on the green from 264 yards with all
00:49kinds of trouble and desert and yeah, yeah, yeah. So I've got the two iron. I'm going to just try
00:53to chase up down there. Kind of tried to save this one. It did okay. It wasn't really in the
00:58air for as long as you'd like, but it runs, it's firm, it's dry, the whole deal. This one got down
01:03there pretty good, just short of this bunker. So we've got a pretty straightforward pitch. You
01:07should get it over the bunker onto the green. I've got that 54 degree wedge. Again, I'm trying
01:11this thing out. It's worked out pretty well for me thus far. That did hit the pin. That actually
01:15hit the pin. It was going maybe six feet by. It was a pretty good pitch, but hit the pin,
01:19saved it from going anywhere by. Just a little tap in. And once again, once again,
01:23we make a birdie. We are at even par through four holes. Reminder, Chevy Traverse. You're trying to
01:28traverse this terrain. Golf's impossible. It's impossible to traverse the terrain adequately,
01:33unless you're one of the best players in the world. Chevy's going to make it easier. You
01:35go to chevy.com slash traverse. They got the 17.7 inch diagonal infotainment system as Frankie
01:42calls it. And just look at this machine. When you go to the link, you're going to love it.
01:46It's got all the new technology. It's got a ton of room for storage, golf bags, kids,
01:50families, all kinds of great stuff. Automatic. You hit a button and you got three rows of seats.
01:54chevy.com slash traverse. Go check it out and watch us try to traverse this golf course.
01:59We come to the fifth hole, 187 yards to kind of a backish pin, downwind a little downhill
02:07and it's dry. So I've just got a seven iron hit this one a little bit thin, but not bad on a
02:11pretty good line. Landed just short of the pin and the right fringe kicked all the way to the back
02:15of the green. So we've got ourself a roughly, you know, 25, 30, 25, 30 foot or four birdie.
02:22Really difficult to tell on the pace because of the aeration situation. So we're really just trying
02:26to get this one close. A good feel for the reed. It just misses, skirts by. I mean, this is when
02:32greens are in good shape. You don't want this leg. We call this Rory leg. When the greens are punched,
02:37you got to bear down and you got to bury these. And I didn't, just hated that one. Came off left,
02:42bad putt, bad stroke, bad bounce, bad bogey. On to the sixth hole. This is our last hole of this
02:48video. We're one over through five holes thus far on the front nine. I really didn't know where to
02:52hit this one. I'm noticing that on the video, you can kind of tell that as well. It looks like if
02:56you go left at all, you're dead. If you go a little bit right, you're dead. That's an under
02:59400 yard hole. So I just pulled out the two iron, just trying to keep this one in play.
03:02And that's a hook. That's just a duck hook left into the bushes. Really wasn't quite sure if I'd
03:07find it or what the hell's over there. And we had that snake warning on the first tee. So I went
03:11ahead and fired up a provisional. Same club, same thing. Just commit to it. This was about as good
03:15a swing as I could make. Roasted a two iron dead straight with maybe a hint of a draw. So that one
03:20feels good. We did indeed go up. We looked to the left for maybe half a second, realized it's not
03:24worth it. So that was our third. This is our fourth on this par four. We got 142 yards uphill into the
03:31wind. I've got a little bit of an eight iron. It is the ball's flying, man. So it's a little tricky
03:35to hit an eight iron from 142, but hard to tell on this. It was into the wind. It did feel uphill.
03:40So I got a little eight iron choke down. Just kind of trying to draw one off the hill to the
03:44right. Pulled it off. Good shot. Just probably a half a club long. Rolled once again to the back
03:48edge of the green. We've got yet another 20, 20 foot or so down the hill. Pace, difficult. Not
03:55really that easy to know how hard to hit it. How hard is it? Is it downhill? Is it going to take it?
03:59Blah, blah, blah. You don't want to hear me yap about it. Point is, left ourselves a little bit
04:03of a puke zone once again. And we got to try to make this one to get out of here with too much
04:06damage. This would be for a double and to get to three over through the first six holes. Bang.
04:12Made it. Good shot to Chevy, though, with a hat, with a logo. Chevy.com slash Traverse.
