00:00Executive order to implement the ban on all Pogos in Patna, according to Solicitor General Menardo Guevara.
00:10Guevara explains, under the law, all gaming operations are under the jurisdiction of PACOR, which is under the office of the President.
00:20So, under a law, a government policy that was ordered by the President can be revoked.
00:27In his 3rd State of the Nation Address, mentioned by President Bongbong Marcos, the Pogos operation will end in 2024.
00:36He is the suspect in the case of Voice Phishing, arrested by General Trias Cavite.
00:43In that mode, the victims are being called on the phone while the bankers are pretending to be able to convert their credit card points into cash.
00:54To do that, they need to be given a one-time PIN that will be sent to their bank.
00:59But that PIN is the key to access and mask the contents of the bank account being called.
01:06The suspects were given cellphones and registered SIMs that they use to watch the voice phishing.
01:12The PNP does not rule out the possibility that the suspects have connections inside the bank.
01:18The PNP will file a complaint under the Access Devices Regulation Act against the arrested suspects.
01:24The PNP is also studying the possibility of economic sabotage. The suspects have not yet been released.
01:30More than 700 boxes of different kinds of frozen meat products from China were confiscated during a raid in Marabon.
01:38Half-meat worth Php 2.5 million expired in 2022.
01:44Some of the meat was even earned by the raiding team.
01:48But some of the boxes were stolen.
01:51Stickers were placed to show that the meat was from Brazil and was not yet expired.
01:58Based on the certification obtained by the NBI in the National Meat Inspection Service or NMIS,
02:03the meat products are unfit for human consumption.
02:07The owners of the company filed a complaint with the Meat Inspection Co. of the Philippines.
