00:00In the middle of the typhoon, the country was hit by another typhoon by the Filipinos.

00:05Some of the evacuees were treated by a cancer patient.

00:31The flood reached the house of Mercy in Barangay Santa Lucia in Novaliches, Quezon City yesterday.

00:38But she thought of the evacuees who need to be fed.

00:42Even when I'm sick, I want to help.

00:45Even if it's hard, I'm happy.

00:47I'm happy that we can help each other.

00:51No matter what, I also need help.

00:54But I'm really happy when I can help.

00:57In various evacuation centers in Barangay Santa Lucia,

01:00more than 500 families, as well as more than 1,500 individuals, were evacuated.

01:07Four small children, along with Carla and her parents, were evacuated

01:12when the water reached their area in Bewang.

01:15We were immediately evacuated because of the heavy rain and the sudden flood.

01:23We are here in Tarjaville, Novaliches, Quezon City.

01:26This is one of the worst floods that happened yesterday.

01:30If you can see that wall, the other side of it is a creek.

01:35It flooded yesterday.

01:36That's why the water here reached the second floor of the houses.

01:42In some houses, there is a hole in the wall.

01:46In Barangay Bagong Silangan in Quezon City,

01:49Manuel Bermas, a member of the BERT or Barangay Health Emergency Response Team,

01:55was the first to evacuate other people than his own family.

01:58Even though three people were swept away by the flood in his house,

02:02he poured deep water in other places to save those trapped in the flood.

02:07Earlier, he was also part of the retrieval operations of a man who was believed to have drowned in the flood.

02:13We know that our lives are in danger.

02:16As long as we can help, we are happy.

02:19There were 10,000 evacuees in Barangay Bagong Silangan.

02:22According to the mayor of Quezon City, they were the most affected by the rain and flood yesterday.

02:28In the whole city, 50,000 evacuees were evacuated.

02:32Some of the leaders of the camera helped in distributing relief goods to them.

02:43In Barangay Marikina City, a man drowned in the flood

02:48to save a dog that was trapped in the gate of a house.

02:52The dog was brought to the evacuation center when the rescuers arrived.
