00:13And not only that, a portion of the money that was lost in the recent GMA gala will be diverted to help those affected by the typhoon.

00:31Dindong Dantes, Rocco Nasino, and Miss Universe Philippines 2021, Viatrice Luigi Gomez arrived at Malanday Elementary School in Marikina

00:44to help the GMA Kapuso Foundation in giving relief goods to those affected by the typhoon Karina.

00:56Automatically, for Dindong, Rocco, and Viatrice to help in times like this.

01:04These are the things that we do as reservists.

01:07One of the few things that we do as reservists, especially in the GMA Kapuso Foundation right now here in Marikina.

01:16It's like we're able to bring smiles here, so that's a big thing for us.

01:21But to see their situation here, we're more excited to be able to help now.

01:26Personally, as a Cebuana, I personally experienced this in 2021 during ODE.

01:33So I know what it feels like.

01:34So when we were called that our country needs help, I really didn't hesitate.

01:40Dindong also went to Barangay Taniong to help.

01:47GMA Kapuso Foundation Executive Vice President and COO, Ricky Escudero-Catibog, is overjoyed and proud.

01:59I'm very, very proud of all of them.

02:02Because you know, kindness is the new wealth.

02:07And it is very important to use the celebrity for charity.

02:13GMA Kapuso Foundation is also very thankful because of the importance of helping those affected by the typhoon and flood.

02:28When this happened, Ma'am Annette Gozon, she called up and she said,

02:33Ricky, let's divert what we raised from the very successful GMA Gala last Saturday.

02:42So less than a week, we will divert it for those affected by the typhoon and flood.
