Holmes: Counsell doesn't have many good choices, but he isn't pushing buttons well

00:13And I don't know if we've paid close enough attention.

00:22But have we not done a good job of actually spotlighting

00:27the things that we were just talking about

00:29and saying, aren't these the things

00:32that the best manager in the game

00:34or the highest paid manager in the game

00:36is supposed to have a better grasp on

00:39when to push the button on some of those choices.

00:43And they're not great choices.

00:44And I'm gonna give Craig that.

00:46He doesn't have a lot of great choices,

00:49but isn't he supposed to be the guy

00:51that pushes the buttons and pushes the right buttons

00:54at the right time?

00:55I want more chicken salad and less chicken crap.

00:59You want egg salad.

01:08So my belief is that if you chose this life,

01:13like that's the thing about last night's outcome.

01:18This is what you wanted.

01:20This is what you, and the pitching was fine.

01:23The bullpen's been great.

01:25The bullpen's been brilliant since June.

01:28And you can't hit the ball out of the ballpark.

01:31And you choose to make your life difficult

01:34and you want to bitch about umpires

01:35and you want to, that's a terrible call

01:37or this should have been a strike out

01:38or they didn't go around, but it shouldn't be about that.

01:41You just have to worry about it.
