00:00We're in the Big Ten, it's the four West Coast newcomers, Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington.
00:11When you look at these four new member institutions in the Big Ten, whether it's stylistically
00:16on the field, whether it's just the new additions of programs, how do you think these four schools
00:22reshape the landscape in the Big Ten?
00:24Yeah, I mean, I think it expands the footprint, obviously.
00:28I mean, it is a coast-to-coast conference.
00:30But I have heard from some schools that weren't already, let's say, out West with a recruiting
00:37footprint that has allowed them to open themselves up to kids they may not normally have been
00:43trying to go after on the recruiting front.
00:45So there's that piece of it.
00:46And then there's the gameplay piece of it.
00:48I asked Greg Sciano, head coach at Rutgers, that very question yesterday while he was
00:52here at Big Ten Media Days.
00:53And he thinks that the stylistic part with a gritty physical offensive line or defensive
01:00line type of game in the trenches is a little bit overrated when it comes to those four
01:04teams trying to integrate themselves into Big Ten play.
01:08So ultimately, we'll see what that's all about.
01:11But I think these teams are going to bring a ton of electricity.
01:15I mean, Oregon could very well win the dang conference this year.
01:17I mean, that's how good that roster is.
01:19And when they play Ohio State this year in the regular season, we might be talking about
01:23a Big Ten championship game preview.
