00:00Michael, because I ran down Emmett the week of Super Bowl, man, he was still hot.
00:04He was still hot about how badly the Cowboys played in that playoff loss to the Packers.
00:09I got to ask you, I know you're a fan first, but you are in that ring of honor.
00:14What was going through your mind as you watch Green Bay lay that beat down on your guys
00:19in their house?
00:20Yeah, I was fire hot also.
00:24You know, think about this.
00:25I can talk about it.
00:27Every team defended their home turf.
00:31They defended their stadium, they defended their city, and their fan base, except the
00:36Dallas Cowboys.
00:38And that even made it worse in that season.
00:41I mean, listen, I like what Green Bay is doing.
00:44I kept telling people, this young man, Jordan Love, is going to be a great player, and he's
00:49doing great things for Green Bay.
00:51But no way the Dallas Cowboys should have lost that game.
00:55No way after the game do I want to hear you players saying they were burnt out.
01:00What are you talking about burnt out?
01:02This is the first damn playoff game.
01:04Jimmy Johnson would always say to us, every time we got into playoffs, he would say, Ron,
01:11right here, we have about four to five weeks to accomplish our goal.
01:16He would actually say these words, each man on this team should be ready to hang from
01:24a tree by his, you know, to win this championship.
01:28And if you ain't ready, get your ass off the field.
01:31We were all ready to hang by a tree, you know, by them things.
01:36You know what I'm saying?
01:37I'm just leaving it at that.
01:38I know what things you're talking about.
01:41That's what it takes when you're getting into the playoffs.
01:44That's what it takes.
01:45You gotta want it.
01:46You gotta be willing to give everything for it.
01:49And those guys were not.
01:51And Green Bay was, and it showed up that day, and that was a sad day for Dallas.
