00:05access your USB flash drive on terminal on a Mac computer. Without further ado
00:11let us start the video. So in this tutorial you need to have access to a Mac
00:16computer a USB flash drive, folders within the flash drive ready for us to
00:23access on terminal using the commands. So we can now go all the way down to the
00:27dock, go to finder, open up finder. Let's now insert the USB into the Mac
00:33computer
00:39and we should see this on screen. Let's now minimize finder for the moment. Let's
00:44go down to the dock again, go to launchpad, go to terminal, search for the
00:49application, the command prompt terminal. Let's now increase the size of the
00:54terminal window itself. Use command plus a couple of times to increase the text
00:59size on screen and now if we were to clear everything on screen let's just do
01:08CD, change directory, LS minus L, navigate to the desktop, CD desk tab, LS minus L
01:23and as you can see we cannot see the USB on screen that's because we need to
01:29navigate to volumes so CD
01:37slash V tab LS and there we can see Kingston and Macintosh hard drive. Let's
01:51now navigate into the Kingston USB and there you go. We are now in the USB
02:03within terminal. Let's just go to the desktop itself, click on the Kingston USB
02:09and there we go. All the files within the Kingston USB. There may be some files on
02:17terminal in the USB that we cannot see however with terminal you can see
02:23everything so let's now quit the Kingston USB. Let's also eject before we
02:29do that this is clear the terminal. CD, quit terminal, right-click the Kingston
02:39USB, eject. And so that's it for this video. I'll see you guys in my next tutorial.
