Bet365 Expands to Pennsylvania's Sports Betting Market

00:00All right, so positive story to end with, Bet365, they are launching in a very big market
00:10in sports betting in Pennsylvania.
00:12You know, Bet365, one of those companies, as we've talked about, Patch, is very well
00:16established all over the world.
00:18And so this is the kind of company that things like this make sense for because, again, it
00:22doesn't work.
00:23They just go back to doing what they've been doing, a very successful company.
00:26Yeah, so they soft launched late last week into Pennsylvania, as you mentioned, one
00:31of the bigger sports betting and online casino states that is out there.
00:36And, you know, they've slowly, methodically kind of rolled out.
00:41We've always talked about Bet365 since the get-go of being kind of this sleeping giant
00:46that's kind of circled.
00:48You know, they're huge in Europe, they're huge in the rest of the world, and just kind
00:51of encircling the U.S., maybe waiting to see what's working, what's not.
00:56They've, you know, dipped their toe in, you know, they launched at the starting line in
01:00the likes of Kentucky.
01:01They've since opened up in Arizona, which is a nice market.
01:04I think they're in eight, maybe 10 markets now.
01:07And just kind of slowly coming in, they're starting to gain market share in different
01:11places because they do have a very well-known, experienced product, and it seems to be working
01:18out for them.
01:19And to your point, if in the long term it doesn't work out for them, they can just do
01:23as Betway and Unibet have done and pull back a little bit and say, hey, it didn't work
01:28for us, but that's okay, we gave it our best shot.
01:32Again, they're giving it their best shot and starting to roll out, so we'll see in the
01:36long term if Bet365 can give some of the draft kings and fan duels a run for their money
01:42in the long run, fanatics maybe, and kind of, you know, at least make it a little bit
01:47more interesting at the top than we've had for the last couple of years.
