00:00All right, let's real quick. We have two minutes left, Jim. Let's get to Nebraska.
00:06Not quite the same story here, but similar. They're trying to get online sports betting
00:10going.
00:11Yeah, you're exactly right. They already have in-person sports betting at a handful of casinos,
00:16but there's a special session going on in Nebraska right now. They're looking for ways
00:22to reduce the property tax burden in the state, and some lawmakers are pushing online sports
00:28betting as a way to do that. Some brief mention of legalizing online sports betting yesterday
00:36in the legislature. A constitutional amendment did pass out of committee earlier this week
00:44on Monday. There is a companion bill that is still sitting in committee, and really
00:50the special session that's going on right now, it seems like based on the conversations,
00:55could end at any moment and could go on in perpetuity, it seems, just based on the conversations.
01:05But lawmakers, they're looking for ways to reduce the property tax burden on its residents,
01:10on its citizens. Some have pushed this online sports betting bill. Conversations happening
01:16today. It's been mentioned. No definitive answer, but we're covering it at Legal Sports
01:24Reports. So when there's news to share in Nebraska during this special session, you'll
01:28be sure that we have it for you, Craig.
