00:00Let's go back to the situation on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City where a group of militants are protesting.

00:07We have live news. James, what do you have to say?

00:14Susan, the program of the multi-sectoral group is continuing.

00:18It is led by Southern Tagalog in this part of Commonwealth Avenue here in Quezon City.

00:24This is also a part of their so-called SORA or State of the Regions Address.

00:28They are from UPD Liman and the program today is called HODYAT

00:32after their five-day protest in Carabat.

00:35According to Kyle Angelo Salgadon, the spokesperson of Bayan Southern Tagalog,

00:39their call is to add wages, reforms in the land, and strengthen the sovereignty of our country.

00:45Aside from the placards, they will also bring an FEG

00:48that has a picture of President Bongbong Marcos, Vice President Sara Duterte,

00:53Chinese President Xi Jinping, and US President Joe Biden.

00:56They assured the FEG that there are rows of people who are protesting

00:59that symbolize the anger of the people.

01:02The program will last for two hours and the group will also join other groups

01:07that will protest later this afternoon.

01:26because of the four lanes that this group is occupying.
