Man dies from stab wounds in Sydney’s inner west and 15-year-old boy arrested

A teenage boy has been arrested following a fatal stabbing in Sydney’s inner-west. The man in his 30's who died from stab wounds was found on his driveway early this morning following a triple-0 call. A 15-year-old boy has since been arrested and is now being held for questioning. Police in a press conference following the incident reiterate that young people should not carry knives in the streets.

00:00Just after midnight last night, police and ambulance crews were called to this quiet
00:06suburban street in Concord, in Sydney's inner west, where they arrived to find a man in
00:10his 30s laying in a driveway with multiple stab wounds.
00:15They tried to revive that man at the scene, but sadly he was pronounced dead and he is
00:20yet to be formally identified.
00:22Now while police were on scene, they were approached by a 15-year-old boy and his mother
00:28and they then arrested the 15-year-old boy.
00:30He's been taken to the local police station where he is being interviewed by detectives.
00:36Police have also seized a weapon at the scene, which they say is a knife.
00:40The superintendent on this case spoke a short time ago, warning against teenagers carrying
00:46knives in public.
00:47This tragic incident serves as a timely reminder for young people who choose to carry knives
00:53on our streets.

01:05And if that day comes, you will likely be facing a murder charge and jail time.
01:13Forensic crews were here combing through this scene for evidence this morning, but this
01:17crime scene has since been wrapped up.
01:20That boy remains at the police station speaking with police and in the meantime, police are
